The first one was sooooo much better. The graphics are the same, but the courses are funner and more innovative in the original. If you loved the original and want more, this is not much different.

Stick to the original.

The little kids on snowboards are back. But there not as good as the first.2 downsides are that the courses are harder and there's a tougher time using your control. So if you think the 1st one was cool, don't get the 2nd one it'll never be as good as the first one. Added Note- The graphics are not much better and moving your snowboard kid is brisk.

A fun, challenging game.

Snowboard Kids 2 is a very exciting game for all ages. It has many different modes of play, such as Verses, Story Mode and Time Race. You can unlock new boarders when you finish different races. If you get bored of racing (which you probably won't) you can play other arcade style games, such as delivering newspapers to neighbors or catching up to the school bus. The first Snowboard Kids was fun, but this one is great! I recommend it highly.

One of the few games that I like. Whole bunch of cool levels, boarders, and power thingys that you pick up.

Consider buying this game. Its cool.

When I first got this game I thought that it would be just like the first one. WRONG. There's a ton of new characters and a bunch of new boards to go with them. And the slopes at Iceland rip. Thats all I have to say.

Great Game

For those who like fun exciting games and want something competitive yet fun for everyone you need to try this game.
While snowboarding with cartoon like characters like jam you can go through levels by yourself earn money and buy better boards and even add more characters to your game. There is also a multiplayer mode where you go head to head on the slopes and using other items to knock your buddies off course to try to be the first across the finish line. For those who want fun you need to try the game.

This is one of the most fun racing games I've ever even played!!

The only racing game that comes to mind that is better is probably Burnout 2. But anyway,

the main characters are Nancy (Trick), Slash (Balance), Jam (Balance), Linda (Speed), Wendy (Trick) and Tommy (Speed). Damian (Balance, I think), Mr. Dog (Speed) and the blue bird, Coach (Trick) are the hidden characters.

It plays like your average racing games but you're on snowboards trying to race down the hills or slopes!

The levels are Sunny Mountain, Turtle Island (probably my favorite), Jingle Town, Wendy's House (my second favorite), Linda's Castle, Crazy Jungle, Starlight Highway, The Haunted House, Ice Land, Snowboard Street and X-Course.

Racing gets complicated when you throw in a bunch of items such as the Bomb, the parachute (SO annoying to get hit by), the block of ice and the idle rocks.

The boards are as follows:

Trick type: Slow but with good air and handling.
Balance: Well-balanced board. A bit faster than the trick board but air and handling isn't as good.
Speed: Fastest boards, but poor handling and tricks.

I usually pick Nancy or Coach. Even Jam sometimes. But I usually stick with the Trick boards.

Also, in story mode, after you beat the game's normal mode, you can start to unlock more boards. Some are pretty useless (Like the Poor board) but others aren't, like the Star board.

That's the best one I have so far.

This game isn't too bad playing by yourself - I've clocked in close to 30 hours alone, which is how I do most of my gaming. I've played with both of my younger cousins:

Savian wasn't too good but Kevin was a little and it was fun with him. But my favorite cousin, Nick hasn't played in a long time. He was fantastic, just like me. The only thing we need practice at is reflecting items back.

This game should enable you to have loads of fun with your N64. And if you don't have one, it's worth picking one up just to play this. Seriously!

Anyway, get this game. NOW.

4.3 stars.

PROS: Cute, lovable characters.
Fun for all ages.
Music is usually catchy.
Up to four players.
Colorful.
Somewhat difficult towards the end.
Addicting.
Graphics to this day (2007) don't look bad at all.

CONS: Facing the dragon seems quite impossible without getting a boost. I can never time it right.
May be too kiddy for older folks.
Not as fun alone, but will last for a while in the beginning.
The speed type characters SUCK! :)

This game is the most unrealistic, cartoony kiddy game you could think of. But that is a good thing, and I love it.

Boarding through fun!

Snowboard Kids 2 will enlight kids and adults. As you snowboard, you get coins and points. The game even has a mini village! Buy boards, paint them, deliver papers and more! I give it a 5 star!
