I Loved this game! My husband and I played it at a friend's house, and on the way home, we had to stop and buy it. It brings me back to the days of standing in the arcade playing pole position until my parents were completely out of quarters. I did find that it is helpful to reduce the screen size by going into the options part of the setup. I save my scores on a memory pack, so the screen comes back to the nicer smaller size whenever I turn it on. By making the screen smaller, I can see things like how many ships I have left and what level I'm on in Galaga. It doesn't lock you in for a long time at a stretch like many of our other games, but I find that I want to sit and play it for hours. My favorite thing about this game is that I finally found a game that I can beat my husband at! :)
Great revival of arcade classics.

The 6 games in this game pack were replicated perfectly, and appear just as they originally did in acades. In Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, the joystick doesn't work too well, but the control pad works fine. Whether you've enjoyed these games for years, or are just becomming aquanted with them, they are wonderful for everyone to enjoy.

I have this game and myself, my husband and our 10 year old daughter love to play this game. Of course, my daughter is very good at it. She plays against my husband and they try to beat each other's score. Its a great family game nite game.

My youngest son insisted to him mom that this should be my gift for father's day. Being a sound and worldly adult I said I didn't care. Now that I have it I just smile and grin. I don't think I can count the number of quarters I spent on these games in my youth, in fact a coffie shop near the house has MS Pacman and Galaga and I spent quarters there with both of my boys. The games themselves are a joy but there are several weaknesses. The contols for the PACMAN games respond slowly (or maybe I'm just slower) and standard N64 Controler isn't easy for POLE POSITION. On the whole this is a great set of games invoking a great set of memories and most important fun I can have with my sons.
My favorite videogame!!!

I would like to start off saying that I am not a huge fan of videogames. I do not own an X-Box or Gamecube and find most games to be boring. However, I still have a Nintendo 64 system from back when I was younger. Out of the few games that I own, Namco Museum 64 is my favorite game. I was born back in a time when Atari was making it big and games like Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and Dig-Dug were the hottest games around. Playing Namco Museum deffinately brings back memories. The selection of games is great. You get to choose from - Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, Pole Position, Galaga, and Galaxian. All the games are exactly like they were on the Atari gamesystem. Each game is extremely fun and challenging. In fact, I would even go as far as calling this game addicting.
Nintendo 64 has pretty much become obsolete today with X-Box and Gamecube. However, if you are not into the videogames that are around today, and are longing to play games from the 80's, then you should definately buy this game.
A solid 5 stars...

Namco Museum for the N64 is a really good retro game. Individuals 25 years and older will remember these games well. For those individuals who are younger than 25, Namco Museum provides an opportunity to play some of the classic videogames that started the whole video game frenzy. Namco Museum consists of 5 games. Ms. Pac-Man, Galaxian, Galaga, Dig Dug, and Pole Position. Ms. Pac-Man everyone knows about. Galaxian and Galaga are Space Invader type games, Dig Dug is a unique digging and destroying enemies game, and Pole Position is the classic arcade steering wheel racing game. All games are great fun for a quick pick up and play. The lack of a battery save feature for high scores (reasoning for 4 stars) is sort of a disappointment, but writing scores down is not that tedious of an ordeal. Overall, Namco Museum is a great port of the arcade classics for a quick 5 minute game between class, meetings, or a lunch break, and is a good addition to everyone's N64 library.

I have been a Galaga and Pac-Man fan for many years and have been waiting for them (especially Galaga) to come out for forever. This is a great game and I highly recommend it.

i was super excited by this collection of games, and i really wish i could give it 4 or 5 stars, but i can't. the two pac mans are great, but the controls are maddeningly difficult. Glaga and Glaxian are basically similar and the controls are ridiculous.....simply innefficient. DIG DUG and Pole Position are fine, but again the controls leave much to be desired, creating a level of difficulty that is simply too high to provide a fun challenge. All of that aside, these games are pretty cool, and pretty addictive. For FUN, i give it 5 STARS, for CONTROLS, i only give 3 STARS. figure out that average, and then go buy the game anyway..... it's a lot of fun and nostalgia.
