Worst game ever

Wow, now I no why someone gave this game to me for free! This is a VERY BORING game and has a VERY BORING plot. So NEVER BUY THIS HORRIBLE GAME. Let me tell you about this game if you still want to buy it after what I have already told you. This is a side scrolling 2-D game, unlike most nintento 64 games. It is about a weird looking girl who has to save this old man who was captured by some robots. I stopped playing it after five minutes on the first level and I have never played it since. This is a fall asleep boring game and would reccomend it to little kids or kids with nothing better to do ( Which believe me you will definatelly have something better to do than this game. ) Also I have no idea where all these crazy kids came from giving this game four or five stars. After all I have said and you still have hopes of buying this game then I would DEFFINATELLY reccomend you renting this game, and please don't buy it for more than 10 dollars.

If you have seen the graphics and gameplay you will now why I hate this game. Bottom line, I woudn"t even pay 5 dollars for this game but, if you really want this game I sugest renting it.

the picture on the box is better than the animation.

mischief makers?what does make you think of?teenagers who get bored and break stuff?firecrackers?practical jokes?pranks?how about............none of the above.how about some crap that looks like it belongs on the original atari?no mischief,just a very poorly animated and quite bright super mario bros rip off.save your money a buy a box a paper clips.youll have more fun.

I dont see why everyone loves this game. it combines horrible graphics with boring gameplay and a pathetic ending. dont buy this game.please dont buy this nasty little excuse for a n64 game.

I used to have this game, but eventually sold it.
It's quite good action, somewhat fun, but the main character is hard to control. Sometimes you have to make her slide on the ground and then jump, this is hard to do and she usually ends up in the lava.

I know I'm not supposed to make references to other reviews but I can't help noticing that at least two 12-year-old gamers think this game is horriible. Perhapse pre-teens are so in touch with 3D games that 2D games seem brittle, or maybe it's about taste.
In any case, I personally recommend Mischief Makers to any gamer who can tolerate mostly-two-dimensional side-scrollers. Not only does it have a female hero (okay so she's really a robot), it's also lots of fun with few complications. There is so much mindless humor, you might go boom. "Okay, whatever!" you ask? Right. Did I mention no struggling with camera angles? That's right: no clipping, no awkward views, and no blocky characters.
The main character, one Ms. Sarina Lightyears, calls herself an Intergalactic Cybot G! Her creator, one Professor... oh, what's his name?! Anyway, Marina's father/creator has been kidnapped and now she must rescue him from his evil brother and a gang of so-called do-gooders. I don't see any reason not to play this game unless you hate girls or side-scrollers. Give it a girl... I mean whirl! You'll be glad you did!

solid adventure game

Mischief Makers was a lot different than the previews on TV made it look and the magazines made it sound, but it's still a good game. It's one of the only 2D games on the Nintendo 64 and it's not bad. You collect crystals for health and there's a hard to find yellow crystal in each level that you have to find in order to see the ending of the game in full. My only real complaints from Mischief Makers is that there's too many smiley faces in the game and that some of the levels are too easy. The olympics stages are probably the easiest in the whole game. Some of the levels are more like puzzles than action, which makes for good variety. In the first world, it's mostly just a set of prepatory levels, but the rest of the game is non-stop action. Without a doubt, the best part of the game was the bosses. All the bosses were AWESOME, and most of them are a good challenge to get past. In order to get the yellow gem in any of the boss levels, you must kill them without being hit any.

All in all, this is a good action/adventure game and it's worth buying just for the good graphics and the awesome bosses you'll have to face. Hint: The more yellow gems you collect in the game, the more of the ending you get to see.

Beware of the olympic games. Its one of the hardest obstacles in the game. Other than that this game was a real challange and had lots of variety in the playing.

i remember playing this game about 4 years ago i had lots of fun bench pressing people and bulitings. It just tons of fun hehe!!!

Mischief Makers has to be one of the greatest 2-D sidescroller games made on a 3-D system. Its just so good how can u not like it!!!
