What a crackhead ride

I personally loved this game--it wasnt the greatest graphics or the best characters, but it was difficult without being impossible, it had a very...unique plot line that was entertaining and completely implausible, and had cool characters. As cool as mystical ninja? Nah, but what do you expect from a game admittedly crackhead by the company? If I didnt already own it, Id buy it. It takes forever to win straight though, let me tell ya.

I was disappointed

I LOVED Mystical Ninja for N64! I rented it 5 times in a row before buying it. When I saw that this game was out, I had to get it, but boy was that a mistake. Sure, the graphics are great, and the storyline is good, but it has sooooooo many more ways to die, less powers and abilities, and is SUPER difficult. I spent 5 hours trying to beat one stage!!! Definately one for someone with lots of patience!!!

rock on!

Really, this game's a hidden gem, as well as the first 3D installment (on the 64 at least, Super Famicom had 3 games I believe, and Famicom had 2). Sure, it's difficult, but that shouldn't stop you from playing it!

Remember Mischief Makers? Think that but Goemon-ized and more Mario influence! Really a good selection for anyone trying to find a challenge!

Little known game, really fun!

This game is great, I had it a few years ago for N64. The dialogue and sound effects are hilarious, the stages are fun and challenging. It is not like some newer games that only take a few hours to beat all the way through. There are fun "missions" in the towns, my favorite was always finding all the little kids playing hide and seek. This is also a great game for 2 players because you can actually work together instead of against each other and you can jump in at any time during a stage. Overall this game is exellent! If you like games like mario or zelda, this game is for you. And it is funny! I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone that has not played it.

brings back memorys..GO GOEMON! DO THE GOEMON!

years ago when I was 7(I'm 12 as I wright this) me and my friend loved playing this game! we loved zooming thoure the game! it was so easy! but so fun! all you need is a friend and a sleepover to unlock all the charecters! and the dialog was so funny!

"what room would you like..
3rd class..
2nd class..
DISCO!"

so the grafics are not very good..so what! its a old game! this is the kind of game that repesents goemon!

why in the world did they discontinue the seiries in america!?

that mystical ninja game that they released earlyer was a big fluke! IT WAS 3D! GOEMON+3RD PERSOM 3D=NO! sidescrolling is the way to go with goemon!

and whats with all these people who are wrighting reveiws that are susspossedly over 13 saying that it takes 5 hours to beat the first level!

me and my friend were 7 and on some days we would say "I'm bored.. what do you wan't to do?" "wanna get 100% on goemons great adventure?" "that sounds like fun!" *a few hours of fun later* "yay we beat in time for dinner!"

also! what do you mean no shortcuts? there are 5 checkpoints a level! and if you use sasuke and yae! there will be a million shortcuts!(I was always stuck with yae because 1P gets to pick first)

one time me and my friend cosplayed as ebisumaru and sasuke at a dance then we did that weird dance from the comercial..."GO GOEMON! DO THE GOEMON!"

but then my friend moved somwhere else and forgot to pack the game so its gone..

I'm pennyless now but if I had 15$ I would buy this game! and I would save up to buy this game for evryone I know!

THIS IS THE ULTIMATE GAME!

Great!!!

This game is an awesome ninja game. The setting is realistic. Cool weapons and items. It's cool how you can change from one ninja. All FOUR ninjas have different skills and wepons with different effects. For example, Goemon gets a chain pipe, which serves as kind of a hookshot from Zelda64.

Fun! Fun! Fun!

I loved this game even if it is in 2D! It's 2 player and I love to play it with my sisters and brother. It's a fun fun game! ^.^ Especially if you like the ways of the Japanese. I would recommend this game...and it's not violent either.
