This game is so stupid, i don't understand why people like it. There is no real fun in it. For one thing you can't jump/ wich is dumb. and the attack moves are really duel. it sucks! do not buy this game.

If by any chance you liked this game then check out all of the other Bomberman games.

It's a classic

This game basicly goes like this. There are 6 worlds, two of which you have to unlock first. So you start out with 4 worlds, a grassy world, a lava world, a water world, and the icy world. There's no order on how you go to the worlds so you pick which world you go to. Each world has 4 levels level 1 is a normal stage level 2 is a semi boss stage level 3 is like level 1 but it's bigger and more complex and level 4 is the boss of the world. Once you beat the boss you beat the world. Beat all 4 of em to unlock the 5th world the Fortress. Once you get all the gold cards you get a new world I like to call the rainbow world;).

But anyways bomberman is a game where you click a button and a bomb pops up right where your standing. You can either kick it at your enemy, throw it, or pump it up to make a big bomb which causes more damage than a normal bomb. Sometimes you have to do a tricky bomb jump puzzle which I still have trouble doing. This game can get complicated to so it's very tricky. Took me awhile to complete it so if you want a long game I think this is for you (espicially for the expert). I love the variety of enemies in the game. I woundn't call this a game for a begginer at all!

I find it fun to look for body parts in this game. It's hidden AND I MEAN HIDDEN in each normal stage there is 4 of em. It's tricky to find so you need lots of luck to find em.

I think that's all for this reveiw, in the end I hope you get it. Bomberman is a star in nintendo and your about to find out why I presume ;)

THE classic

this game was my favourite when I used to have an N64. Infact, I think it still is my alltime favourite game, nothing else has managed to beat it. I miss this game alot, and it infact may be worth buying another n64 just for this game alone.
If you like adventure/puzzle-solving games, this is absolutely the best.

The opinion of a well traveled gamer.

This is my personal favorite when it comes to the Nintendo 64, or the Bomberman series altogether. The multiplayer featured in this game features 3-d movement not restricted by a grid of panels like most Bomberman games, and it proves to be much funner.

Story Mode is mediocre at best UNLESS you're attempting to get all the gold cards and all the customization items. Doing so will expose the player to many head scratching puzzles, this applies to the bosses (!) as well.

Getting all the gold cards unlocks something awesome (find out yourself). Plus beating the game under 3 hours on the various difficulties, with *all the gold cards* unlocks even more stuff. This in-turn gives the game quite a bit of replayability.

The graphics in this game aren't anything special, but they run very smoothly, and compliment the gameplay. The sound in this game is very catchy. Infact, if there was a soundtrack I could buy, I'd have it. ;P

I recommend this game to anyone and everyone. (unless for some reason you have a phobia based around bomberman, then by all means stay away)

Better then I thought.

I bought this cheap at a pawn shop. Figured if it wasn't any good then not a big loss. It's one of the best Nintendo 64 games I have though. Well worth the six dollars I paid for it.

Yes, its me, bombermans biggest fan again, for more reports on bomberman! This one is not as good as the other ones but it is in three dimensional contact. However, the thing that can drive you to the terrifying demise of a psycopath, is the one hit K.O.'s! I care about bomberman's heath matinence so much that I set this down for awhile! And The Bosses are uncouth and are so tough you may want to hire prophets of doom to march around your house the whole time you play the boss!So this game still is fun but dont exepect as much from it as other bombermans!

Fun, But Not Perfect

The single player on this game is good. Some of the stages are a little long and eventually get boring, but if you stick with it, you will definately be rewarded. Big, challenging bosses and many secrets keep this game exciting.

Multiplayer, on the other hand, gets boring way too fast and gives you little options on how you want your battle to go. Custom suits found in single player help this a little, but I would still give this mode 4 stars, being generous.

Though I might not have sounded like it, I really liked this game. It was only my second N64 game and I would never sell it.

My main problem with this game is that you cannot jump. I mean, how hard is it to jump, even if you are carrying a few bombs on your back? This can get EXTREMELY FRUSTURATING, though you can jump on bombs, which partailly solves this problem.

Note to owners of this game: Watch the movie in the ending credits for solutions on how to journey to some of the game's secret areas.

Out of all the Bomberman games out there that I've played, I'd have to say Bomberman 64 is my most favorite. Don't ask me why...it just is. I rented it out from Blockbuster Video and, liked it so much, that I bought it. I never was a big Bomberman fan til this one came along. I wish I could explain how much fun this game is to play but you'd just have to find out yourself. The Single player mode is challenging but its' Multiplayer mode is where this one shines...yes indeed. Just let me say- I highly recommend this game to all. It's definitely worth its' asking price....

It's almost perfect

Bomberman64 is almost the best game I've ever played, however, it does have its weak spots. The music is particularly memerable, and the stages are well graphiced, challenging, and beatable. But, there is one area which is normal mindstumper. I can't easily get by it. The bosses are also rather hard to defeat, although like the stages, they are defeatable. There're also stages whitch can be defeated, but take a long time to defeat.

Good game
