If you have played the original Army Men: Sarge's Heroes, you will probably like this one. Although it is relatively the same, this one seemed somewhat easier than the original. The levels continue to get harder as they come along, but most don't seem to offer the same challenge. I have had it for less than a week and am three levels away from beating it. If you are an experienced player and are looking for a game that will take a long time to beat, this isn't the game for you.

Sorry Amazon, RENT IT, DON"T BUY IT! I got the 2 day rental from Blockbuster and beat it by the 12 o'clock blocbuster deadline. I bought the first Army men and throughly enjoyed playing it. It was creative and fairly difficult. But, Sarges Heroes Two was TOO simple, the boards weren't as creative and the ending was pretty pathetic. One improvement was the sharper graphics and better camera. It was good and fun but rent it for a weekend ...

Sarge's Heroes 2 is an improvement over the original Army Men: Sarge's Heroes. The graphics are better and the 1 player game is better, at least I thought, than the original.

In the 1 player game, you play in missions and complete objectives in different environments ranging from a toy store, a pinball machine, a refrigerator, to a freezer and a train set. The missions have you switching between playing as Sarge or Vikki and along the way you are assisted by different members of the team as you battle your way up to Plastro!

The multiplaye is an improvement with new battlefields and more characters to play as ranging from Grimm to Brigette Bleeu.

If you enjoyed the original game, then you will love this. Rent it or buy it its up to you, and if you did enjoy the original, I strongly recommend that you buy it.

This was the best game for N64 I've ever played. The details are amazing, not that you'll notice while you're busy shooting down helecopters or blowing up a tank with a bazooka. Plus, since everything is plastic, you don't have to worry about your mom bugging you about blood, missing limbs, etc. Levels include a refrigerator, a pool table, and a pinball machine. Weapons include a flame thrower, bazooka, grenade launcher, mortar, M-16, sniper rifle, machine gun, and hand grenades. Since you can play with up to 4 players, if you beat the game, it'll still be one of your favorites.

The worthy "Sequel"

I have purchased Army Men: Sarges Heroes2 in the hopes that it would be as fun as its prequel. I noticed some big changes in the game such as: the enemies are a lot smarter so you can't sneak up behind them and shoot them... The story line is highly engaging and the new weapons are awesome. If you liked the other Army Men games then I highly recommend you add this one to your collection.

I've played the original army men game and really, emphisis on really, liked it. But now, just like any seaquel, it sucked! Too easy, not good story line ( rushes into a big story), small levels, and, well just about everything! I would recommened renting before buying, you might like it. But, DO NOT BUY without trying it. ...

Sarge's Heros 2 is fun to play and the levels are exciting but there isn't enough of a challenge in this agme to last. There are new battlefields like a pinball table and in a toystore which is the main appeal of the game. There is a 4 player mode which adds a bit more appeal, but i still fell that no game can beat the multiplayer on Goldeneye. To sum this game up, if you can get it cheap its worth buying as yopu wont feel that you have wasted loads of money when you complete it easy.

Very fun. Probably the best Army Men yet.

I bought this game not knowing what to expect. I had a coupon, it was about to expire so I purchased this game. I am so glad I did. Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 allows you to play over 15 different levels of blasting Tan, Grey and Blue Plastic Scum along with defeating Zombies, Robots and Spiders. Boot Camp is still as fun as ever and you'll have no problem beating 1P with cheats such as all weapons and maximum ammo. From playing on top of a dinner table, to jumping onto a giant ham in the freezer, all the way to defeating General Plastro and his partner Brigitte Bleu while saving your team inside a Pinball Machine. Why only 4 stars? I'll tell you why: Multiplayer. You can choose from 6 places in Multiplayer, which is actually fine. All the weapons and every character is playable in Multiplayer. But you know what? It's not all that fast. Maybe it's just me, but the more players you start to use, the game slows down. It's really annoying with the choppy movement. Overall I would say it's a definite buy. It says intended for the N64 expansion pack, but my game seems to work to the full extent.

the games are ok but the company sucks, they use bait and switch advertising tactics and don't recommend anyone doing business with amazon, companies with beter ethics are available on the web.
