This game is a great classic in the Sonic game series. It is a shame how this PC version doesn't suit certain computers, such as a computer running the Windows XP Operating System. Unfortunate for me because I have this OS, but for the fortunate ones out there - it's a classic! Grab it!
A frequently overlooked classic

This is quite easily the best 2D sonic game around, though it is a bit different from the others.
To beat the levels with a good ending, you need to time travel back and forth between the past, present, and future. Each era presents a slightly different look and layout of the level. As you might guess, this can make for some interesting puzzles.
The graphics are amazing for a game of it's time. The music is also quite good, and of higher quality then pretty much every sonic game until Sonic Adventure.
It's true, the game won't work on XP out-of-the-box. However, if you search on google for 'sonic cd cult korama patch', you can find an unofficial patch that updates the game. The update process is a bit technical, though, so unless you know what a directory path is, I suggest you avoid it.
All and all, if you can get it working, this is well worth the $5 or so you'll spend.
