Crashes on startup

The commercials look great; the clips on their site also look fun. It's just too bad I cannot play this game.

My machine meets the requirements, but the game crashes when I try to start it. Wait for a patch before spending any money on it (assuming, of course, that one will be released).

The Simpsons Hit 'n' run is the greatest game ever made! Those people who hate it don't know what their talking about! But their probably just boring, no-brained non-understanding wierdos. The game delivers more laughs per second than the funniest joke in the universe! You go around as your favorite Simpsons character exploring Springfield while trying to save Springfield from a diabolical plot involving strange, camera-using bees thats making the whole town go nuts! And with the original voices of the Simpsons cast you can't go wrong! I wish I could give the game 9(...) stars!!!!

I must say this because of the fact that the missions are impossible. They don't give you enough time in any of the missions. If you do complete it, your lucky. In the races they don't give you even the slightest bit of equality in the later races. If you do want a chance to beat the races get every car ahead of time and good luck.

I got this so called "best simpsons game ever" for christmas. It started out good, with nice un-frustrating missions. But then you get up the the "frustrating point". This game is EXTREMELY frustrating. Okay, Okay, I'm not a very patient person, but if you've played this then you'll know excactly what I mean. Although the extras like costumes from Simpsons Eps like Homer with A Donut Head and Lisa as Florida are pretty cool, this game is still annoying. "The First Great Simpsons Game Ever" oh please, more like "The Third Worst Simpsons Game Ever". This is not worth $70.
PS: I LOVE The Simpsons TV Series.

I GOT THE SAME ERROR MESSAGES AS OTHERS BELOW WHEN TRYING TO INSTALL THIS PIECE OF CR*P 5 TIMES, AND EVEN HAD TO RE-INSTALL MY DIRECTX FROM MICROSOFT'S WEBSITE TO RESTORE THE ONE THIS GAME CORRUPTED!!! I NEVER EVEN GOT A SINGLE GAME SCREEN & I PLAY GAMES ALL THE TIME!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE & BUY BIG MUTHA TRUCKERS, OR MONSTER TRUCK MADNESS 2!!!!

This game is very bad when installing it on a laptop. I tried to install it but got error messages and damaged my system. Soon called customer Support , which is a phone number u have to pay for because i live in NY but its in CA, then they couldnt help me and made everything worse. My computer is one month old and has a very very high quality , but this game damaged my laptop and I advise you never buy games from this company.

I'm a diehard Simpsons fan, but this game is just so tedious. My brother in law has this game on XBox, and it played really well, so I bought it for my PC, and it's just bad. The handling is bad, the movements are really jerky, and the missions are impossible! I'm at level 2 and I've already had to skip 80% of the missions just to make it this far! I wish there was the option of choosing a difficulty level and a wider variety of missions. They just seem to repeat, and I get frusterated very easy. If I could, I would return the game and just play it on XBox at my brother in law's house.

This is a really fun game and a super game for Simpson's fans. Totally irreverend and mostly ridiculous, you'll have serious fun playing your way through all of the Simpson's caracters, walking or driving through various parts of Springfield wrought with inside jokes and various references to the episodes (can anyone say Monorail?).

The game lets you cruise as a tourist through most levels or play the driving games and get to the nitty gritty of all the stories and jokes. The coins that seem useless at first can become obsessive when you want to have access to all the vehicles (Yes, they have "The Homer"!) and all of the caracter's costumes (Nothing like the Homer "casual", our lean mean favourite guy riding through the city in his underwear).

For gamers, in short, its a non bloody version of Grand Theft Auto, with all the non linear and multiple missions aspects.

PROS: Funny, non-linear, diverse and challenging enough to keep you interested for weeks on end.

CONS: Not great replayability. Once you've done the jokes, you're done. Not a great appeal if you don't like the Simpson's.

Always somthing new. A little tricky and great hidden items and fun. If you live to watch The Simpson's reruns 3 times a day, this is what you play the other 22.5 hours a day!
