Why, I purchased 1 month ago and still have not recieved it. I have been givin 3 different delevery dates. Funny that after I changed my shipping to ONE day they added 2 days to the delivery date. Needless to say this is the LAST item I ever buy from here.

Avoid if you're a RollerCoaster Tycoon fan

All you do in this game is build rollercoasters! There are no money to make or customers to ride your coaster that you've worked so hard to build. I was fooled at the time I bought this game by the pics with the ferris wheel, concession shops, and themepark stuff in the background; I thought it was a tycoon/sim game. The game calls these nonfunctioning buildings "props."

The good thing about the game is the detail they put into the coasters like banking curves, vert. and lat. G's, and speed. The flaws I've seen is that you have to go 70 mph to go thru a simple vertical loop. Now that's crazy. Also, the graphics are good, and the ride-your-own-coaster is descent...

This game is fun but a bit hard to navigate and place dertain items.

Get UR Disney Edition, it's the latest...

Before you waste your [money] on this version go buy the latest version, the Disney Edition. Why? Because this version has a few annoying bugs that may never get fixed. 1) Some MP3's won't play correctly, 2) MP3's won't play in test mode--how are you supposed to build a coaster timed to music?! I've brought up these issues on the game site. I highly doubt they will be fixed since it seems the Disney version is the only version being touted now. On the plus side, this game is plain awesome. It makes building coasters a breeze and you'll be working on your first masterpiece right away. Don't buy this game unless your sole intention is to build your own coasters. That's what this game is all about. If you are expecting something else then you're sadly mistaken (like some reviewers who gave low ratings). I recommend this game (Disney version) to any coaster freak who wants to build their own. Also check out No Limits Coaster Simulator (only available on the web/download)---a more serious approach--the ultimate metal coaster builder. Both are must-haves for a coaster builder or enthusiast. Bunches of coasters online for your pleasure. What are you waiting for? Get the Disney version.

Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe

This is a Disney's version of "Roller Coaster Tycoon". The graphics are not as good as RCT but this is still a very good game. The background music is very Disney-like and sounds like it was recorded at one of Disney's theme parks. Most of the Disney Interactive games are good and this is no exception.

Although it does not say it, this game will work with Windows XP Home Edition.

This is truly addictive !
Not only are the graphics and options FAR better than any other roller-coaster software, but they dangle a carrot in front of you as well. Once you finish your coaster you upload it to the internet where other members download and ride it and then rate you - all in hopes of winning the coveted title of "RollerGod" for that week. In turn, you download their coasters and rate them.
I've experienced some big problems on the website which may have more to do with my internet browser and less to do with the software, but all in all it has been a fun experience.

This is fun cause you can never run out of money, supplys and your coster gets rated by disney stars! ( mickey minnie pluto donald daisy and goofy i love real WDW coasters, so this is the next best thing :)

I have roller coaster tycoon gold 3 disk edition and just got the ultimate ride preview and the kids dont have a chance to get their hands on the computer to play them because i am not going to shair it with them..lol lol,,they love it and it is better for them than some of the blood and guts games that are also my toys but not suitable for their age,

This is a great game for all ages. There are a few downfalls I would like to mention though. You can't choose very many themes, track types, or colors. You don't get a big space to build your roller coaster, so sometimes you have to squish everything together, and that gets difficult. No one even rides the rides when you are. Its just you, all alone. You don't even get rated on how good or bad your ride is. But, the good thing about this game is you get to actually ride the rides. That's pretty fun. So, that's basically it.
