The good:
Great!
Cleaning a mess has never been this fun! (Makes chores exciting!)
Kicking Odie is fun!
New humor! (Including a bunny slipper moose-head in Jon's den!)
Lots of puzzles to solve!
The loading screen shows Garfield asleep on a green pawprint background with an animated and spinning disc!
The fun never ends!
The bad:
Game is meant for little kids.
Having Odie hit you just makes you want to hit him back.
This game was better off on Nintendo DS.
Most of the humor is unoriginal.
Garfield's new voice dosen't have enough additude.
The confusing:
How can Garfield's vacuum cleaner backpack handle all that stuff?
How was Odie smart enough to make a mess in the house?
The new voices:
I love the new voices! I want Jim Davis to make a show called THE NEW GARFIELD, with all the new voices!
The graphics:
Great classic graphics from the good ol' days, but still.
Controls:
I don't know why Shawn Watson said the controls are mucked up! Why the controls are great!
Gameplay:
Awesome! I thought this game was never coming to the USA!
Story:
This is a story that a little kid will love!
Overall:
This game is great. I played the trial twice and loved it. I'M BUYING IT! Get it for your little kids!
Not Bad, But Needs Improvement.

The Garfield PC game features Garfield in an all-new 3-D look for PC (and Playstation 2 in UK). The storyline is that Jon left the house and told Garfield not to mess up the house or he would be in big trouble. But Odie decides to mess it up and Garfield must clean the house before Jon gets home. While it sounds like a simple fun game everyone may enjoy, the game seems to appeal more early childhood audiences than older kids.
The music gets corney at times, sometimes sounding childish, like something that should be in a Blue's Clues or Sesame Street game, which may convince older kids not to play it. The gameplay and graphics are ok, looking very Playstation-like (which may make them a little outdated for some people). The game has lots of humor, but not much original humor. Just about everything Garfield says is from a Garfield comic or something else Jim Davis created before this game was released. But there is some original humor in the game that makes it quite funny. For example, it's quite fun to kick Odie around whenever you see him, but it gets boring after a while because all he does is just flip and make noises. (He can also kick you back to get in your way, so watch out!) The controls seem fine to me, but the voice acting is really what the downfall is of the game. As Shawn Watson said, the guy who does the voice of Garfield ain't nothing like Lorenzo Music, though he does sound similar, and any fans of the Garfield & Friends cartoon show and specials will be disappointed to find out that with the exception of Garfield (and Jon, and maybe Nermal), none of the characters sound like what they do in the show.
In a nut shell, the Garfield game is an okay game that will probably appeal to younger audiences than older audiences. If Hip Games and Jim Davis want to get the attention of older audiences, they should make a more challenging game with better music and better voices. If you're a younger child (or parent of a younger child), I recommend you get the game; if you're an older child (or parent of an older child), I would recommend waiting till Garfield: Saving Arlene gets released.

Eternal, unending shame on the people who made this game. Jim Davis ought to be more careful when licensing out his most famous creation. It might make him a bit of money but fans deserve more.
This Garfield game has the fat cat left alone in the house and having to clean up a huge mess. It sounds simple and childish and kinda like a game a little kid would play, but it stinks to high heaven. Do not buy this game for your kids, it will torment them into really bad moods and end with smashed monitors.
First of all the voice-acting is terrible. Whoever this guy is voicing Garfield he ain't nuthin' like Lorenzo Music. The pathetic graphics are disgusting. The controls and mucked up and constantly reverse themselves for no reason, causing you to run around in circles. The gameplay is the poorest I've ever come across and there are flaws up the wazoo.
It would be criminal to own this game, never mind paying for it. Don't be fooled by the pretty cover, stay a hundred miles away from this game at all times.
