If you like bugs, glitches and spending your time reading tech forums at UBI, buy this game, and the original Ghost Recon. Some people have no problems, but many do. Unfortuantely I am one of them. I have a Pentium III 1.1 GHZ 256 mb ram and windows ME
with a GeForce 2 MX 400 64 mb vid card, and I experience a bunch of bugs, even after patching. Personally, I think this game needed a few more months in development. If you enjoy Operation Flashpoint, RTCW, Medal of Honor, DONT buy this game or the original. The graphics are a notch above Delta Force 2, and for some unknown reason the developers decide not to show your characters hands or weapon in your view. So basically, you have a little reticule to aim around and you have to imagine or guess where you are standing. [bad]. Realistic? I dont think so... last time I checked, I could see my own hands in real life...
save your hard earned duckets for a real game...

I've seen many complaints about games not working on their system, whether it is a problem with the video card, not enough memory, or your CPU is just not fast enough. I've played many games, RTCW, MOHAA, Ghost Recon, Desert Siege, and Max Payne. I was able to turn on the highest video settings without experincing problems. Before you buy the game check the requirements! If your computer meets them or barely makes them don't buy the game, you should always beet the recommended. When you actually have the right pc the games are actually fun.
Good Add-on

This is a good addition to a great game. The only problem I have with it is that it is too short, but it is about right for the money. Not revolutionary, but I would predict that it will quickly become almost necessary for multiplayer.
Too short.

Nice change of locale, but no major improvements in graphics or gameplay. Should have been offered for free as a downloadable mod from UbiSoft or Red Storm Entertainment's website.
Fun missions, but too short a campaign for the price.
It's a MUST BUY expansion game for Ghost Recon

I always love Tom Clancy games, like Rogue Spear and Ghost Recon. I bought The Desert Siege expansion pack from Amazon.com, and it is the most challenging team shooter game.
Desert Siege is not for a beginner Ghost Recon Player, since the computer enemies has very good artificial intelligence. They can hide and they can run away from you! It can cause a real havoc when you have to deal with an enemy sniper until you can figure it out where he hides.
The first time you play it, you may get frustrated a little bit because the enemies are harder! but after a while, you will figure their behaviors out.
Must play game of the year!
