I first recieved Sims DOuble Deluxe as a Christmas gift. Much to my dismay i needed Windows XP to run it. I waited patiently and when the game did work, I found myself staying up late to play it!
First of all...
GRAPHICS 9/10
This game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen. Unlike other games it also does not need to load thest graphics.
GAMEPLAY 10/10
With fires, moods, and work, you are kept alert and on your toes. With buy and build mode, there is no limit to how big your home can be!
SOUNDS 8/10
The only problem...repetitive music. It's not bad, but not good either.
REPLAYABILITY 10/10
Like i said, you won't want to turn off the PC!
EXPANSION PACK ?/10
I haven't loaded it yet.
OVERALL 10/10
This is a great game and i think you would be a fool not to buy it if you can.

This is an awsome game (well at least the regular one is) I love being in so much control. This is a great game for power hungry people =) BUT... if you don't have a computer that can download things or a computer that can handle all the EP's (expansion packs) than it's not worth it. I don' t think it's very fun if you can't explore new places or do new things like in the EP's. If you do get it you'll get tired of it VERY quickly, BUT... if you go to www.c-and-c-enterprises.com you can get some awsome downloads that will help spice up the game. Here is what I think of the EP's I have

I Love the pets but it was a little dissapointing cuz u can't do much w/ them

Good game with lots of neat objects and items. The iteractions are cool too. Everything you need to throw a great party. But you get bored of it after a while, and don't get it and plan on not spending more money on another expantion pack. The Sims Makin Magic, Bustin out, and Hot date give you a lot more to do so you are never in a position where all your mood bars are full and you dont have something to do.

Just love the game... The extra content you download really adds to game playing. Lots of hours are needed for this game, so I do so have to go.

I bought The Sims, Livin' Large, and House Party and it cost me about $120! Wow, I can't believe you can buy it that cheap now. For those who don't have the Sims yet, get this. The Sims is one of the best games out there. No wonder there are so many Sim addicts.

The Sims Duble Deluxe: It's great but...........

The Sims Double Deluxe is the best game ever, and I mean it. There's only one problem with it, it may not work. On my computer I tried uninstalling it then installing The Sims Double Deluxe and Hot Date but something went wrong. Now if I try to uninstall it, the game goes ku-put. Watch out for that stuff.
I know how some people might feel with me writing trash about the Sims, like i did when i read other reveiws. The Sims are awesome. They r mostly for everyone that likes playing God. The more sim games u get the better they become. I recomened them for every1.
The sims have cheats that bring even more fun to your computer.
Get the Sims now or you'll never know what you're missing!

When I started playing The Sims I had bought the Deluxe Edition, I could not only have the Original Sims but the Living Large Expansion Pack all rolled up into one. Now with Maxis getting ready to release The Sims 2, they are also reducing their prices on the original Sims and subsequent EPs. Now with them releasing The Sims: Double Deluxe they are offering NEW customers a chance to play not only the Original Sims but Living Large and House Party as well. They also added some new items not originally found in any of the before mentioned games (if you already own the Sims and want these new items you can go to the offical website to download).

I do stress that this is not for people that already own The Sims and all of the EPs, this is for people just starting their addiction to Sims. Believe me once you start down that innocent road of playing the Sims, there is no turning back, you will become addicted:o)

I definitely recommend getting this bundled up package of three Sims games (Original, LL and HP) if you like simulation games without a lot of action, and you don't have the Sims already. This product is of good value considering you are getting three games for the price of one. It also makes it nice that you only have to install it once and not three times.

hello I bought this game for my 12 year old daughter. Once she strated to play she got addicted. I tryed to get her up from the computer, but she wouldn't budge. She was on it for 2 days. she stopped because her family had died in this game. She was so sad.
