The Best Of The Best Game Of All Time!

This is the most awsome version they've come out with (It's about time Maxis) I had already "Compiled" all 8 of my ORIGINAL CDs into a DVD, but then they got stolen by someone. So now I was stuck with a copy. I wanted an original version CD(s), but I wasn't gonna pay $80+ for all of them! The nMAxis came out with this one, and I saw it & couldn't pass it us. My wish had come true!

For someone who doesn't have all of "the sims", this is perfect for them for 1/2 of what it used to cost ($39.99 or so) I'm sure when "The Sims 2" is finished it'll be done the same way after "The Sims 3" is released.

This is a GREAT deal and is worth every penny my favorite game on there was unleashed you get to have pets and hot date is were you get to go downtown and vactoin is ok i really don't like that one because you go somewhere and lose money

The Sims is a brilliant game. Just being able to make people and families and makes dreamhouses is the perfect game. In the sims basically you make a family, make a house, and live the way you want your sims to live meaning you can let them sleep and stuff. The sims have 7 basic needs which need to be filled every so often to keep you sims happy...

Sim Needs: Energy, Comfort, Hunger, Bladder, Room/Environment, Social, and Hygeine.

The sims is a very addicting game beleive me... i have stayed up for two straight days just playing this game, cool huh? on the sims you can get jobs, marry people, have kids, and basically do anything... plus, you can donwload skins and objects from sim fansites to make your sims game better... The sims has some pros and about one or two cons...

Pros:
1. You can live your lives and it actually feels like you are apart of the family which is quite neat...
2. You can choose from other hundreds and thousands of objects and skins to run your sims lives the way you want.
3. the game never ends, you can play forever and ever and ever and ever!!!! (until you kill your sims that is)
4. A very addicting game and a fun game, the best simulation game ive ever played!!!!
5. This particular package comes with the main game and expansion packs making the game experience a hell alot better!!!!

Cons:
1. Sometimes the game can run a bit slow and choppy
2. Depending if you have a anit virus or not, your game can sometimes crash (but very rarely)
3. The sims can sometimes screw up the way they move and interact with things causing your sims to be retarded and do things that you havent told them to do.
4. With this particular package, being at 35.99 is a good price but a tad bit high, just a little though.. :) 29.99-31.99 would be reasonable...

OVerall, this game is addiicting and excuse my language but fun as sh**!!!! I recommend getting this package though with everything in it, and since christmans is near, this would make a EXCELLENT christmas present!!!!

This isn't a review of the actual game, you should already know the game is excellent!

An extremely great value for anyone who doesn't already own The Sims or has the game with only one or two expansion packs. I was pretty surprised/relieved when I found this considering beforehand, collecting the game with all its expansion packs would have cost you well over 100$ as the Mega Deluxe packs or more than double separately. I had already experienced the game before but being cheap, I wasn't willing the shell out the money even during the game's first set of consolidations. Now when this came out, I knew it was time to pony up. It is a remarkable deal, the original Sims plus ALL 7 of its expansion packs dealt at the lovely price of under 40$. Considering it would have cost up to around 300$ for all this at one point, it is a considerable deal, made possible only by Sims 2's success. If you already love the Sims without actually owning it, this it what you should get. If you haven't played the Sims before (!) and are curious about all the hubbub surrounding it, this is the package to get, no question about it.

If you were looking for a review about the actual game, you should look at the pages of the original Sims and all its respective expansion packs. There's no point telling you which expansion packs are better or worse on here because you can't install them separately with the Complete Collection; they all install together and there is no customising which ones to leave out. That is a drawback if you already know you hate or can't stand one or two of the expansion packs or are trying to save hard drive space, you cannot not just install one or two of them, they're all together. This could be relevant to you, but it was relatively irrelevant to me since none of the expansion packs are overly intrusive (most features can be ignored if you do not wish to use them). There's a sign in Unleashed that you can buy to get rid of animals and keep them from leaving puddles at the ends of the sidewalk. IMHO, all the expansion packs add something new and unique to the Sims experience, so none should be left out anyway.

Conclusion: buy this if you like/love/are obsessed with the Sims without actually owning a copy, buy this if you haven't played it but you think you will enjoy the game (how can you not?) purchased at bargain price. Don't buy it if you already know you hate the game or already own all of it because there really isn't anything extra aside from some stuff that can already be downloaded for free online.

This is the disc you need!!!

I really was amazed to see how cheap this product was. It's even cheaper than the Triple Deluxe and it was limited edition, sos I got it right away!!

OMG where to start? Who hasnt heard of the Sims? its one of those games that you either love or hate. I love it, of course. I haev heard some people say that you cannot install certain expansion packs and that you must install the whole lot- not true. You can choose to download whichever expansion pack you want. I will give you a brief note on each expansion pack:

1) Livin it Up- lots of new items, new careers and new skins. Nothing amazing about this one.

2) House Party: very fun with items such as dance stage, buffet and lots more. really fun and you can have HUGE parties, which is an easy way to make friends.

3) Unleashed: If you like pets this one is for you. Cute, cuddly little cats and dogs. They become part of your family, they can have babies. However they take some time to train and I never bother adopting one!

4) Vacation: very fun but not enough places to visit. There are 3 themes: beach, snow and lake. Fun to go now and then.

5)Hot Date: romance. i love the restaurants they feel so real. You order your food, eat, hang out, make love...everything. Cool.

6) SUPERSTAR: my FAVORITE. This expansion pack is really amazing! You live the life of a Superstar -all the good and all the bad! did I say bad? yes I did. You get this REALLY annoying OBSESSED FAN who follows you around 24/7. I mean it. Go to Hot Date, Vacation, or anywhere, he'll be there waiting for you. Its creepy and sometimes REALLY annoying, but I think its realistic in a way that you cant be a star without fans. You can sign autograph, win Grammys Awards, get a Limo to downtown, Sing, Dance, make a music video, have tons of fans!!! So much!! This is the best expansion pack. YOU need it!! If you like the Famous life then this is really gonna blow you away. Make yourself a star!! However, you need to keep up with the business worl if you wanna be a star, give up your job, have TONS of famous friends, be VERY skilled. Then you will earn your life as a star. Its really hard, though.

&)Makin' Magic: this one is ok. fun and creepy but not all to my liking. lots of new characters/ interactions and stuff.

+ You get a create a sim disc where you obviously create a sim. very cool.

OVERALL you need this excellent package!! Its so cheap and well worth it. if you never enjoyed the sims, avoid this!!

A bit overwhelming

I love playing The Sims, but there's a reason that they release the expansion packs slowly -- it's too overwhelming to start off with all of them at once. This program would be perfect if you were able to install the expansion packs as you wished. It is a lot cheaper than buying everything individually, but the game is too overwhelming at first with 7 expansions right off the back.

My suggestion, start off slow. Just get your sims jobs and start making friends. After that, experiment with buying new stuff, then having parties, then checking out the date scene, etc... Keep the odd stuff for later like the superstar and vacation stuff.

I love the Sims so much, and all of this together at a cheap price is great. I love all of these. There so much fun. It seems that there more fun the the Sims 2. I lost my old ones in a fire a long time ago and now I got them again, and I think all of my old ones costed much more then this. Great deal. This game is really addicting, becuase once you start, you won't want to stop.

Not a "Complete" game as advertised

I bought the new "Complete" version 'cause I've purchased 3 computers since I first purchased a Sims game and, for some reason, each time I upgrade my computer, I had problems installing the original The Sims CD so I bought one of their earlier combo packs (which basically meant REbuying games I already had) to bypass that problem. With the last 2 computers, I have not been able to install Makin' Magic (it thinks I've only installed up to SuperStar and - without asking - UNinstalls all my other CDs leaving me to start over (meaning I can either only go up to SuperStar or have no Sims installed at all). So, I figured buying this would fix that problem... and it did, but not without giving things up.

I tried to make my first house yesterday and learned that many of the items (wall papers, objects, etc.) are no longer there. To me "Complete" means it should have EVERYTHING from the original game and ALL prior expansions, the ad even said that, but it didn't and I'm very disappointed that I either have to do without Makin' Magic or do without my favorite objects (and downloading hacked objects, etc. just messes with the game). It's only my second day playing so I may come across some other differences as time goes by, like the fact that it doesn't recognized the money cheat "motherlode" (it's been a while since I've played so maybe I'm confused and that's only a Sims 2 cheat but I didn't think so). If so, I'll try to come back and give an update.

I wish that I had known that they were going to do this. I loved the first disc so much that I bought all the expansions at full price as they came out. Thats about $40-$50 a piece. OH-WELL, I don't think I could have waited this long to play anyway. This complete collection is a steal and I would recommend The Sims to everyone. Stay up late and enjoy the game.

This is the best game I have ever played, it is like playing dolls only for grownups and teens! It is awesome. It is an excellent escape from boring difficult everyday life. This is what makes it addictive. All video games have the potential for addiction but this one does more than any other i have played. It is a great game, but because it is a great game, you may, or rather, you probably will get hooked.
