I thought this game was a great change from the ever boring "First Person Shooter" type games in which all you do is run around watching the end of whatever gun your carrying. OOOooo.... you picked up a bigger gun and some ammo.. same game... different gun.
I actually enjoyed the change in camera angles. It keeps the game from being a left right up down type deal which I find very boring. Gives you different angles on the action... especially when your bashing somthings head in.
The game is original, new, and interesting... not just grab a gun and shoot stuff....P>J
I hate puny Banner!

Ok. We all know that the Hulk is an unintelligent brute who smash things with the enthousiasm of a two year old toddler. I did not know that I had to go down to the level of intelligence of the Hulk to enjoy this game. Fortunately, that can be arranged :) but for only short periods of time.
The Banner sequences are completely useless. It is not on the level of Metal Gear or Thief or any sneak game that I know. At least, those sequences were short.
I loved the way the programmers did the graphics. I read a lot of comic books and I think that the transition was very good. Most of the fun I had was to destroy the environment and use the debris to get rid of my enemies. Speaking of enemies, they are plenty and dumb. The expression "cannon fodder" should be modified to "Hulk fodder". They keep coming and coming like mindless clones (after all, that is what they are, no offense to the military).
Don't get me wrong, I like this game but it needed more strategy and a better AI. Keep looking in the bargain bin. It should be there.
Only Alot of fun when you're mad..

The Hulk has really hard controls to master, and the storyline is confusing because, I am told, it was made like a sequel to the movie. The only time you get to do really fun moves is with the bosses, and then you get to do stuff like pick them up and smash them down on your knee. When you fight your standard little soldiers you don't get to do much except punch them. The parts where you play as Bruce Banner are LAME a.k.a. BORING, or whatever word synonomous to those you prefer. It's hard enough to keep you entertained for a while, but don't spend more than ten dollars on it. Great for a Rainy day though :)

At first I was really disappointed in the controls for the PC version, this is definitely meant to be played with a controller, which leads me to believe this game is geared more for console play than PC. Also I wasn't thrilled with the missions as David Banner, he gets killed so easy, but that's just me probably. I couldn't wait to turn back into the Hulk and start smashing and kicking stuff, but even then it could get a little repetitious.
Other than that I rather liked this game. The graphics were smooth, sorta comic book style, kind of like XIII, but without the rough outline in black, nothing groundbreaking. The audio and FX were cool, lots of explosions and AI enemy chatter. Good gameplay, I never had a problem with the 3rd person camera angles, although I'm partial to first person perspective. I loved the fact that you could pick stuff up and throw it or use it to pulverize your foes, but I would have liked more usable debris. Hulk's different moves were allright, it's great when you get a combo going and really cause some damage. Most of the bosses you come up against, recycled throughout the game, are pretty challenging, and look fairly menacing. Then there's the almost undefeatable end boss, The Leader, who looks totally stupid. Like some cartoon baddie with a signature goatee and a massive green waterhead, who's dressed in an olympic ice skater's outfit.
All in all a pretty fun game, especially if you're a Hulk fan.
Fun for a day

What can I say? It's an okay game. The smashing is fun, but it gets old quickly. There are very few move combinations, which makes the game even more bland. Most of the levels consist of you fighting off wave after wave of puny soldiers (who oddly don't die after being punched once by an 800 pound beast).
A few levels you play as Bruce Banner, the scientist who was exposed to the gamma radiation that turns him into the Hulk. They are meant to be a change of pace to the Hulk levels, but they are pointless. Banner is incredibly weak and the levels are not interesting at all.
All in all, this game can be beaten in a day. If you can, rent it when you're bored. Otherwise, buy another game.

This game requires a 3D Accelerator Card. If you want to play this on your computer you'll want to buy one. Judging by the PC version Screen Shots it will probably require a 32mb or a 64 mb 3D Accelerator Card with full Transform and Lightening. It'll be the first Hulk game made for PC. I plan to buy it. I think that you'll be able to play as the Gray Hulk in this game also.

My enthusiasm for the film and even the demo version notwithstanding, this PC game is a dog, no, it's a Gamma Green Hulk-Dog.
Imagine the worst, most annoying camera angles imaginable,
impossible "puzzles" that would've made Banner Hulk-out given the frustration level (and I'm good with puzzles, if my experience with JKII: Outcast is a gauge),
and repetitive, deployment of the game's cannon fodder of Special Ops soldiers.
There are well-designed villains in this game, but even in the unlocked modes, you can't play them. The first-person view option is poorly executed, since you can't do much in first-person except look around. The vaunted destructability of the environment is very limited. Finally the game is about linear as anything out of 1995. Why you need 3 CDs to play this game escapes me.

I recieved The Hulk comp game as a gift for straight A's in school and I am very upset it didn't work on my comp. It says right on the bottom of the box it can work on my comp but NOO, it doesn't. I bring it back to Target the next day and got another one. Doesn't work either. Now I'm stuck with a software game that looks extremely promising and fun but won't work. And I can't do anything about it. So remember my story when you think u wanna buy this game. Good luck!

This is an extremely bad computer game. The first time you play it is okay, but the second time you realize how boring it is. There is no challenge in the game at all. The only reason I gave it one star was because it had one okay level, and it has somewhat good graphics. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!
