A good solid game. Puzzles come in three levels of difficulty. I enjoyed this game show as a kid and this pc game does bring out the shows qualities. No problems loading and playing the game using windows xp.
Wow, just like the game show!

I remember playing Concentration as a kid. And I loved watching the show on TV. This PC version brings back lots of great memories for me. I had a blast figuring out the rebus puzzles. And my kids were much better at finding the matches than I. Overall, a terrific rendition of a classic American game show.

These days, we're seeing a lot of great game shows make it to the computer like Family Feud and Deal Or No Deal do very well. But, we often do seem to forget about the classics that influenced us for so long. ne of the most forgotten game shows of all time, Concentration, has delivered so well on television back in the 1960's, 70's and 80's and early 90's with Alex Trebek and other hosts. But, the show has been off of television for so long, it can be really difficult to make a great game shine again, and this game may prove part of that point for your computer.
Concentration for the P.C., takes the classic NBC game show into your hands. The game is very simple with memory, as you try to make as many matches as possible for prizes. Once you match a pair from the 25 squares on the board, it will open up to display a part of a rebus puzzle that you could possibly solve. There are around 100 different puzzles to solve in the game that could be a saying, a person, or a title. The graphics really work nicely, but there are very few puzzles, which can quickly make the gameplay seem a bit tiring after awhile, even though it is fun to enjoy all over again.
All in all, I was just hoping Concentration would be more exciting for the home computer, but it is a fairly good reintroduction to one of the most delightful game shows of all time. I haven't seen the show on television in years, but it was a joy to watch. If you haven't ever watched the game show during its era on television in years, than you might be interested. Otherwise, lets hope for a better sequel than can be a better match.
