I just picked up Backyard Baseball 2005 for the PC and I must say, it's quite a cool game! All the locations you can play in are quite cool looking and varied, and the pros as kids are hilarious! I love me some Ichiro! I'm about halfway through my first season and I can't stop playing it. Check it out!

Excellent game... for the guy who said that this game doesn't have a savegame option.. yes, you're right. It doesn't have the option, because the game saves automatically.

This is a great really great game. We can both play it and we are 6 years apart. We both love it, too! We like the Power-ups.The unlockable players and staduims are good. The 3D is a big improvement and so are the multiple angles. It looks a little like a movie. The Backyard Kids are improved and so are the player skills. They spoofed on the cover. A-Rod doesnt look a thing like he does on the cover. Also, making players isn't as good because they only give 20 skill points in single games and 15 in seasons. Read the book before you play!

The 3-d graphics although an improvement, are hardly worth the effort. The gameplay is hard and frustrating, the option to save is gone and so you have to finish the 2 hour marathon in one sitting, the characters are bland and "robotic" as one fellow reviewer had the good sense to say. Backyard Baseball 2005 is a far worse than the prevous years.

This game is totally the best game ever! The graphics are totally
great and the kids are great! I like to play season games like
18 season game. My favorite team is the Oakland Athletics which
let me explain who they are.

She just wants to keep playing and playing. The fun part is that I want to play the game with her as it is fun for all ages. The power ups are just plain amusing as you can throw a rainbow pitch one moment or while hitting use a lightning bat. If you want an ideal game for you and your child...get this game.

We have backyard baseball 2003 and 2005. 2005 is by and large more fun than 2003.The 3-d graphics,and more unusual fields,make this alot more fun. My 6 year old has not grown tired of this version even after 8 months.The harder the levels of play make it so you don't get too bored. highly reccomend this for the young baseball fan.

Simple to learn. Teaches the basics of baseball in an entertaining way. My 6 yr old loves it.

I really,really love this game very much!!I play it a lot and this is the greatest baseball game.I have a season team and my favorite team is the Seattle Mariners. I was playing Metallica's Ride The Lightning album last night when i was playing this game and I sure thought that it was great baseball music...somehow i really love to see a robot pitch like Mr clanky i even have him on my team as well as barry dejay,and abner dubbleplay.I play on that boardwalk level and go to all star games and world series.i won the world series.here's my roster for my season team...

Dizzy is the best player on the whole team.He hits a lot of home runs.barry dejay is a backyard basketball coach who plays on my team.mr clanky is a great pitcher.pablo rulz.sammy rulz.

Last night i was playing like 3 games and when the first game was over in the 9th game of the 2nd season,I was playing that song For Whom The Bell Tolls and Dizzy Lamb was the player of the game,what I call that 'For Whom The Bell Tolls Player Of The Game'.I went to the all star game american league championship won against the national.This game is very,very cool and i highly recommend it!!!best game,wish i could give it a 6 insted. you have to get this this rulz!!

its so good that the graphics look so real and the players. i love how they copy the players like alex rodrieguz ichiro & sammy sosa i love the game its so cool realy you have to BUY IT
