The game arrived in good condition but it's more for juniors than older kids or adults.

Don't Waste Your Money!

I played the online version of Scrabble Blast and loved it, so bought it for my GBA. Don't waste your money. It's frustrating trying to finish the games since it uses some words that are foreign or just nonsense. It also uses some slang words, some proper nouns and some Roman numerals. I was very disappointed with this game and bought Bookworm which is 100% better than Scrabble Blast. The only reason I didn't give it a one in both categories is because it IS fun...just frustrating and rather annoying when you can't figure out what words are left on the board.

Best gameboy game when own

I got this game for myself while recovering from surgery. My 9 year old son picked it up and became just as addicted to it as I am. What is great is you can link up 2 gameboys and play against each other. I totally recommend buying the gameboy link if you buy this game. They are inexpensive and the multiplayer games are so much fun. I can say without doubt it has helped my child in spelling. My son even took the gameboy to his school conference and beat his teacher and principal!
It is not traditional scrabble but a great series of games in which you have to find words, wither by trying to get a high score or by timed test.
This is one gameboy game I can play for hours as an adult and so can my kids. My son plays the zelda and pokemon games for the gameboy but he also enjoys this game just as much.

I bought this game for my wife to play when she gets bored at work. I tihnk she likes it, but I ofund it quite frustrating and annoying. First off, it is nothing like the Scrabble boardgame. Granted, i've only played the classic mode, which is similar to Boggle. Track letters to make a word. This game shouldn't have the Scrabble license.

I REALLY LIKE THIS GAME. I HATE THE BOARD GAME AND I HATE TO SPELL BUT I LOVE THE TWIST IN SPELLING WORDS IN THIS GAME. SPELLING IS ACTUALLY FUN.

You can say it's a game that is Tetris, Boggle and Dr. Mario mixed together to make words as quickly as possible.

I love the scrabble blast! It keeps me on my toes, finding words in a matter of seconds. A good way to keep the brain active!

I bought this game right after Christmas. I am an adult gamer who prefers puzzle games anyway but this game is awesome to play. It has a bookworm or boggle feel to it and my 14 year old daughter keeps stealing it from me as well. It is a very reasonably priced game at $11.99 at Target. For anyone who is interested in puzzle games and enjoys the game bookworm, which you can no longer find at a reasonable price if at all, I would recommend this game highly. If you play in the classic mode or puzzle mode you do not have to worry about being timed. I like a game you can put down and come back to if there is something I must do. It is true that you cannot save at any point but I guess that way every game is a new one even if I had to quit. I do wish that it would maybe save high score but for the price I am not complaining. I am very satisfied.
