even thou this game is a lot o money its worth it I think its awesome. there are cool caracters n weapons it is a great rpg. u should get it .

This game is the best!!! The only thing is that you really should go online with it. If you don't go online, you only get about 10% of the fun you can have online. Ya!

the answer is no, not likely. This game is an rpg. When u first start the game you select your kind of character. there are three "species" in this game; Humans, Newmans (kinda elves), and Androids. Then there are three kinds of characters; Hunters(melee fighters), Rangers (shooters) and Forces (magic users). Ok there is not a species and gender for every type but here are the ones that do exist and their official names; *Hunters* HUmar = Human Male Hunter HUnewearl = Newman Female Hunter HUcast = Android Male Hunter HUcaseal = Android Female Hunter (sadly there is so female human hunter or male newman hunter) *Rangers* RAmar = Human Male Ranger RAmarl = Human Female Ranger RAcast= Android Male Ranger RAcaseal = Android Female Ranger (there are no newman rangers) *Forces* FOmar = Human Male Force FOmarl = Human Female Force FOnewm = Newman Male Force FOnewearl = Newman Female Force (there are no android forces as androids cannot use magic) Those are all the characters to choose from. Then you can customize their faces, hair style and colors, costume colors and height. this add to the fun and customization of the chars. Then there are these little floating robots behind you called mags. you feed them and they grow into powerful little mags. they add to your stats making you stronger. In this game you go around defeating things, getting stronger and finding better weapons and armor and riches. The graphics on this game are pretty good. Online play is pretty fun, and it only costs 9.95 to play per month(online). and unlike the xbox version, offline is free. so this is my review i hope u understand the game a little better now

Pso is a good game the only problem is the lack of story line that is why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

If you are an RPG fan and you have the Game-cube. Get this game now. This is one of the best online Role-Playing ever created. Plus a new Episode. First off the bat you can choose from up to 12 Race/Class combinations. Not to include the customation feature, which gives you, over a hundred different looks to choose from. The sheer amount weapons are mind-boggling. And when in game you raise what most others and I call (a pokemon-like) robot called a MAG. But the greatest feature about this game is its offline multi-player capability (so get your friends.)

Phantasy Star Online is one of the best games ever!! since the first time I played it, I love it!! i hope that the new gamecube version doesnt allows hacking the game, thats the only part I dont like.. heh thats all..

This game was one of the best for dreamcats and will be one of he best for gamecube. This game has all the features of a true RPG. Huge detailed worlds, hundreds of monster, an whole additional adventure only for the gamecube. What ca i say, Buy the game now!

Well, its ok except for the cheats for online, i mean that takes the fun out of it. It should be like starcraft or something, like you can only do cheats offline. Oh well, this game is still pretty cool, I CANT WAIT TILL IT COMES OUT! The demo was sweet, you can create a cool character. I almost made me.. hehe, just kidding. All in all this one deserves 1 and a half thumbs up.

The name of my review sais it all but obveously there's more to this game. I cant see how the average for all the reviews was only a four and a half stars! My friend has Phantasy Star Online, the first one obviously, for the sega dreamcast. Every time i went to his house me and him played it, I was hooked. So i bought a dreamcast just to play this game, like many other people it beat down my social life, not that I have much of one. I just played, played, and oh yah played some more. there are tons of weapons to choose from, and beter yet you get to create your charactor from scrach down to the slitesed detailes as the collers of their eyes to their facepant. There is one thing i could say i hated about this game is that when you play over the enternet some people love to use the gameshark which means that someone, unexpectedly come up to you and; kill you, take all your stuff, and run for it. I recently got a gamecube and whene I found out that a remake of PSO and a PSO episode two coming out for gamecube i jumt with exitment, i just coudnt hold my self. I knew i had to get it, and while im writing it right now I relize that it is one day befor it comes out, thats right it's 10/17/02, and im again jumping with exitment. A piece of advece if your reading this review right now get this game. Peace out.
