Now this is the kinda game where you can just go crazy. Destroy everything you see. A superb party type of game. Bash up your friends, nothing can be more fun. The graphics are amazing, and the characters/weapons are great. This is a must have if your getting an xbox.

I played this game at a local funcoland and i must say i wasn't impressed...the cartoonish graphics were good...and there was nothing definably wrong with the game play.....however this game was simply not fun to play at all. The control system is very very awkward...making you reach around the already huge xbox controller...just not impressed...the humerous graphics save this game from getting a one star rating from me. Not a suggested game....go get Halo or Amped instead.
GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is cool, it has excellent graphics and gameplay that lasts forever, I recommend it to any one that wants to have a great laugh with or without friends. The only thing thats kind of dissapointing is the difficulty, specialy for children, but if you are good at car combat games be prepared for a great experience!!!!!

Cel Damage takes the graphical cel shading stylings from Jet Grind Radio on the DC and brings it to the next level. Tons of weapons that include all the cartoon stylings you could wish for.
When you hit an opponent with a sledge, they go flat; when you hit with a giant ax, they are cleaved in two; you spike them with your Giant Nail Gun and they're jammed into the ground bouncing back and forth.
The game is a blast with tons of replay value. It's great to battle your friends in. And since it's only cartoon violence(Warner Bros. Style), it's fun for the whole family.

It is also coming out for Nintendo Gamecube. Cel shaded Twisted Metal is the best way to describe it.

Eh, where to begin with this one... mostly I don't like it because of it being related like a twisted metal game, which I hate those kinda games. The controls are ackward and just sometimes out of the way, the schme is basicly destory everything... wow. For you diehard Twisted Metal fans this is your game, if not, rent before purchase.

I got the first issue of the Xbox Magazine, and it came with a dvd that you can watch to see the making of Xbox and some previews of the games. When I went to check out Cel Damage, I thought of, and I'm not offending in any way, Eric0404's review, it said that this game was disappointing. I totally disagree with him, the only downfall in this game is that it's one of those Twisted Metal types of games, you go around and use weapons to destroy your enemy, that happens to be a person or thing driving a car. But I can't just say that, infact, I love the cartoonish graphics. Just like in the Simpson's Road Rage game coming out for Xbox. I also have to say that you can get a large aray of weapons, including Bombs, An Axe, Machine Guns, and a whole bunch of destructive weapons. Not only is this game for all ages, it's fun to play with the family on a holiday or just for a family night. Well, I hope that this review helped you all out, it did for me. I am also going to get this game. Find more about me in my Know More About Me area.

way to go microsoft!! make yet another game that no one will buy. All these no name games are worthless. they just think of something slap it on a disc and sell it. Xbox needs better titles, and more interesting games. the only one that impresses me is wwf raw is war. i still only give that a 3 out of 5 rating. don't buy an xbox. Save your well earned money for something better.
Played this game at a Wal-Mart

Ok I stopped a few minutes at wal-mart and tried to play this sucker..
I must admit it was very additive. I was just going to blow up a few cars but wound up standing there for 20 minutes hacking, punching and blowing up competition. I do not know the long term playability but I found the cartoon graphics fluid and humerous. It has immidiate FUN potential but agian long term I do not know. I do own a PS2 and would say that the graphics so far are definitely on par with my PS2 but I didnt see anything that would make me jump ship to the XBOX. That may change as games develope. Folks its all about the games and after 1 year PS2 games are just now getting up to speed. As consoles get more complex and better graphics it takes awhile to release quality games for those. I think the XBOX has excellent potential so long as the game developers support it.

Bash together frantic gameplay, meticulously cel shaded visuals that give this game it's cartoon look, highly interactive Looney Tunes environments, insane dog eat dog multiplay minus loading lags, and you've got an excellent sleeper hit with a god auful title for Xbox. At first, be prepared to get constantly run over, axed in half, blown to bits, or flapjack flattened by a bunch of maniacal cartoons inrubbery vehicles. But give it a chance. Once you get the hang of that plump Xbox controller, and figure out what's going on, Cel Damage gets to be a damn good time in no time. Everything's cel shaded down to the last tiny stick of lit dynamite, and works extremely well with the cartoony look. Cel's levels are some of the most interactive you've ever seen for a shooter racer, meaning suprises ranging from space warp tunnels to jungle vines you can swing on await you,as well as tons of level prop objects that react um, explode rather, When you've crashed through them. Vehicaland taunts to match, also add a lot of personality and humor. So what's not cool about Cel? Only three match types racing, deathmatch and capture the flag style play. Still, that may be plenty considering Cel's got two and four player splitscreen options, and lots of unlockable levels. So there you have it. My only other complaint? Cramping in my left hand from playing too much.
