This has to be the worst Xbox game I have ever played since I have owned the machine. The graphics could be better, the storyline is weak, and the levels are extremely boring. Placing enemies few and far between so there is very little action. Also, you can't skip through the videos during the game, which are really boring, and long too. I'm very glad I rented this game instead of buying it.

This is an amazing game... i found that it actually puts you in the game. I felt and still feel as if I am Batman. There are different levels to have fun on, there are even different vilins to battle. I would give this game a very high rating. Hope you found what you're looking for, i sure did.

More Generic Console Garbage

Yet another generic console title mired in slow load times, awkward interface, and over abundance of cut-scenes.

Everything this game could have been it simply wasn't.

Maybe the game gets better later on, but the first chapter alone is enough to make me realize how low the bar has sunk for this to be a critically acclaimed game.

This game could have been great ... but it turned out awful ...
Rather than have a great 3rd person action-fighter, you have an acrobatic puzzle solver with some 3rd person fighting ...
What they should have done was to make the game more action oriented and to make the wire/puzzle solving with easier aim ...
Rather than having to point directly at the standing target, to point in the direction, and for the CPU to make the automatic adjustment ...
Also I've never seen Batman fall from a rooftop, but in this game, if you fall - you die ... with no chance of recovery ...
That was a huge mistake ... had they made the game based on what Batman could do in either the cartoon series or the comics,
the game would have been a spectacular success ... oh well ...

i got tthe game for my husband and son my son palyed it and he said it was easy Then my husband played and he was funny to watch he could not do anything

Dont buy this game I used to have it for Xbox and it stinks I wouldnt buy this for a dog!! The graphics are so bad that you can see his body go through walls they look like N64 graphics (no offense to Nintendo), the controls are horribble, the storyline stinks, there is sooo many glitches and it's waaaay too easy! I dont even know why they made it for Xbox, PS2, GC, and GBA. Get HALO or Spider-man NOT Batman Vengeance!!

By the poor standards of Batman games, this is not bad; it's pretty true to the animation's style and it's got a fair number of cool gadgets and vehicles. But the graphics are really sub-par for an Xbox title--it's clear that this was a first-gen PS2 game that was ported to the Xbox with no visual improvements.

The controls are also inexact and confusing. Too often you need to be in exactly the right spot for an action key to work; for example, to handcuff a downed enemy you can't just be around him, but need to be in some mysterious position near his feet that seems to change with each instance. And some jumps need to be pixel-perfect--frustrating!

I'd recommend this for Batfans only. Our household Bataddict (age 4.5) loves it, but his Dad has to do all the hard bits, which is to say most everything, simply because of the clumsy design.

Better than forever on ps!

Its better than that other game that came out on the ps a few years back.
Grapchics-6/10-to choppy
Control-2/10 terrible-u will notice this while trying to kill the joker!
Fun factor-4/10 to boring and hard
Presenatation-9.5/10 good story balance and good cut scenes.
gameplay-4.8/10 to borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring!!!!!!!!!!!!
