Moscow to Berlin is a great game. You go thru scenarios and get to control all sorts of historical tanks and ground vehicles of world war 2.the game has good detail for its time, which is just a couple of years ago; and is easy to start because of the interface and tutorial.the pace isn't as fast as other rts games, which usually focus on bases or resources along with fighting using units. This game instead allows you to engage in tank fights that feel real and in warfare where if you don't destroy an enemy tank completely you can repair it with a vehicle that repairs vehicles, garrison your troops into it and then use it against the enmeny. You don't have to worry about fuel or ammo, the only resource you can run out of is infantry or tanks, but the game is usually balanced leaving you winning scenarios using good old strategy.Only problem I ran into on was two of the scenario levels where I didn't set off the trigger to win, but found the trigger to the game by marching my troops to different areas of the map.Overall great game if you have ever dreamed of commanding authentic ww2 vehicles in realistic battles that don't have you concerned with building or supporting with food and so forth.I bought this game at the price here and wow thought it was a steal.Because after time and demand some old games can get costly.

Having started in turn based games such as the Panzer General series, I arrived only lately to RTS ["real time strategy" for the benefit of new commers like myself] games. I learned to appreciate the action and strategy of RTS classics such as "Panzers" [phase 1 & 2]and "Praetorians". "Moscow to Berlin" fits in very nicely with these other titles. The graphics, pyrotechnics, weapon modeling, and game objectives are all solid and enjoyable. This game, like others of the genre, is very replayable again and again. I have played on an easy mode to grasp all the abilities of weapons and men but can easily see that in the future I will replay the same scenarios using the special abilities of the troops a great deal more. There is a multitude of things you can do when fully in control of the game. For example, the troops--especially officers--can add a bonus to tracked weapons. You can also dig in troops and vehicles for defense but you lose on mobility during this time. I will send sappers out of a truck to lay a mine field and feel very clever when an enemy tank gets destroyed during a flanking movement. However, there is no rush to explore all the game tactics & strategies right off as on easy mode you can accomplish all the main objectives and win victories just with bulk armour and a few air strikes. The game is involved but is also simple to learn with good tutorial and info on weapons. You will enjoy this game if you like historical startegies/war simulations.
