Shrek over powers Mario

Wish you had gotten an game cube so you could play mario party 4? NEWS FLASH: Shrek supe party is much better than the mario one! You try to collect precious drops, not stars. Plus, in mario, you get to warp. ...Well, there's no cheating in this game, and no advantage to which player you get. In this game you get to choose a course you want, and it doesn't have to be the same as the others. With more interesting mini-games, and better cut-scenes, this game makes mario party look [sad] This game is worth every penny, and makes you never want to stop!

I CAN NOT FIND SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT ENJOY THIS GAME! Truely it is made for smaller children, ya know what annoys me about these games, scooby could be on it but it is not geared for 6 year olds! Anyway this game was my newphews favorite who is 7! He bought it for my 5 year ols for his birthday and we haven't stopped playing it. My sons favorite part of the game is scooter scramble! What is so great about this game is you can just play portions of it, if your child likes a particluar challenge. TRUST ME I HAVE YET TO FIND ANYONE WHO DOES NOT ENJOY THIS GAME. My 13 year old neighbor came over and called it a baby game, NO HE IS ADDICTED, I can not get him away from my door. My son has even gotten my grandmother who is 76 to play and she loved it!

"THE CHOICE" FOR FAMILIES WITH TWINS OR 2+KIDS!

I just happened to see this game online when xmas shopping last year. The reviews weren't great at the time, but I knew my kids loved Shrek and I was tired of listening to them argue over whose turn it was, so I bought it. What a great investment! The arguing is now limited to stealing precious drops/bugs (very minor)and all of my kids can play at the same time with the multi-tap. The graphics do glitch in some places, but that doesn't detract from the fun. I do like that you can play even if you don't have 4 people and the computer doesn't always win. You won't regret this purchase!

I have a 6, 7 and 9 year old who play this game constantly..... My husband and I play it with the kids too. The other thing good about this game is you can have 4 players. The games are hysterical and fun. BUY IT, your kids will love it! ......

We originally got this game for my son who is 10. He really likes the game and we've had a lot of fun playing it together. It's definitely a game that gets played a lot around here. We squeal with delight when we can send Lord Farquad to the evil bog! We get burned out on it and stop playing it for a few weeks. Then, out it pops again from the video game drawer. It's a keeper!

Carefree fun

This is carefree fun at its best. I don't understand the criticism of others -- no "unlockables", so what? Head to big? They're all "too big", it's a schtick. It's fun, it's a game based on a cartoon based on a fantasy, it shouldn't be compared against some WWII RPG game. My only beef is that if you're playing alone, the computer-controlled characters consistently perform a little too well, and also the ultimate win-or-lose is based a little too much on chance and bug swapping, rather than having had consistent success throughout the game.

When I bought our Playstation 2 I didn't have a clue to what game I should buy. I bought the Shrek game without reading any reviews. I guess it was beginners luck. Great game. You have two game modes. One lets you simply play the games you want, or the other that lets you play the Shrek game that allows you use a "bug trading" strategy against the other players. I think the fact that up to 4 people can play is a huge plus. I wish more video games had this feature. I bought a few highly rated games since, but Shrek ranks number one. Fun for the whole family.

Our family LOVES this game. It's like an eletronic board game.You can have up to four players play at once. This is a game that they would play ALL DAY if we let them. A great kids game!!!!!!!!

This is really a great game. I got it for the kids for Christmas last year and it's really fun to watch as well as play and I like to cheer on the underdog. It can get pretty rowdy. Even the grownups like it! Since it's hard to get the kids to want to do anything but play video games, it's great to have one that we can all play to together as a family and have fun doing it! My friend tells me she and her husband play it with his friends all the time too.

Sure the characters look a little funny and the announcer gets really annoying after awhile, but the non-violent, fun for the whole family aspect outweighs that, in my opinion.

i love this game it is so fun. i love catching bugs, and when i dont have enough time to play a real game, there are 30 other mini games to play. the characters look very funny with their big heads. this game is perfect for kids of all ages.
