This game is so magnificent that I would rate upon the top 10 of all PS2 games. While playing it when it first released here in Japan I played for hours. Its beautiful. I never knew much of this Piglet character but after game...Oh yes.....Game is rated in sequence:1-10
Graphics:5++ (Intense mind-numbing graphics)
Gameplay:5++ (Magnificent story and breathtaking CG)
Soundtrack:5++ (Most in sync and classic music ever. A massage for the ears)
Sound Effects:5++ (Extremly realistic sounds and extreme voice acting!!)
Buy the game and pick up the controller. You'll know what I am talking about. This game is unlike any other. A multitude of beautiful characters backdrops, original gameplay, and simply a gaming classic. Any gamer any age any gender (& any weight) this is must buy game!!

My kids are not at ALL interested in this game. I would not buy if I had it to do again.
Very Cute, but Parts Are Too Hard for Kids

This game is really quite cute. There is a great deal of imagination behind the design of the different levels, but some of the "boss battles" at the end of levels are just too hard for kids. Having to do 5 or 6 different key combinations SIX different times under a time limit is just too much to ask.
FUN FOR ALL AGES!

At first I had my doubts about this game, but my friend is obsessed with Piglet and bought it for Gamecube. I watched her play it, and then I just had to try it. The game is so entertaining, adorable, and considerably challenging. And I'm a teen!
Not really for little kids

I'm not sure what the target audience is, but it's definately not the preschool age. The last level is impossible. But if you are an obsessive compulsive Pooh fan like myself, you will have to get the game. Just don't buy it for your children.
This game should be recalled

I often by children's video games for my 3 tear old daughter to watch me play and "help" by telling me where to go, what to do etc. An avid piglet fan and budding enthusiast of video games, this one literally bored her to sleep. I am a grown adult, with 23+ years of experience in playing video games , with 10+ years as a professional video game tester. I am good at playing games and there is no game I can't beat in record time. One particular bonus level where I had to chase the bad guys and catch them within a very limited amount of time was so difficult that I had to return 43 times. 43TIMES!!!! Now what 6 or 7 year old (probably the oldest age to find Winnie the Pooh entertaining) would enjoy such a pointless task as to have to repeat it so many times. The game control and camera angles are very confusing, the task sequence sends the player pointlessly back and forth throughout the map in a feeble attempt to lengthen the overall play time. If there were any children involced in the testing phase of this game they were neither listened to nor taken seriously, for this game was not very interesting or educational. The graphics were fun and rich, which made the game overly saturated with loading time - there was a lengthy loading pause for every single event that involved more than just walking - every time I walked up stairs, used an item, collected an item, talked to a character, left a room, defeated a bad guy, or anything else like that I had to wait for the loading screen. I just finished the 4th of 6 levels and simply loathe the thought that I will need to finish the rest in order to teach my daughter that quitting is a bad thing. THIS GAME STINKS!

This game is okay. It is very addicting and somewhat easy. I do not think this would be a very good game for kids. This took my a short while to finish. In the game Piglets friends are having dreams and Piglet must help them be happy...i guess. Well anyway all throughout the dreams there are heffalumps and woozles each with different powers. You must scare them off with your 'brave faces'. To get a brave face you must collect hidden cookies by kicking certain object so the cookies fly out across the room and if you dont catch them fast enough they fly back in. To scare woozles and heffalumps you type in a combanation a.k.a. square circle triangle square(like dance dance revolution). And sometimes you must also do things like up+square triangle left+square. But some of them have special...'abilities'. Some can change the combonation or hide it or flip the screen or hide from your brave faces. Its hard and would be hard for kids but it is very fun. By favorite dreams were Eeyore's and Tigger's. And my least favorite is Roo's and Rabbit's. I would recomend it...but not for kids.
Great Game!!

This is a wonderful game. I gave it 4 stars only for the fact that it has a loading process when you go in every world. The graphics are the best. This was actually bought for my soon to be 5 year old who enjoyed watching and helping me play. It is a very addicting game that you don't want to put down. I do think he would be able to play but he is intimidated by the woozles ect. The woozles and heffalumps did not scare him, he actually got excited when I had to turn them into a potion and would count at how many times I had to scare them in order to get the potion. I recommend this game to anyone who has had some experience with the controllers.
Great for the youngest gamers

I rented this game for my 6 year old avid gamer. Naturally he scoffed at playing such a "baby game". The truth is he enjoyed every minute of it, it was rarely frustrating (until nearing the end). Furthermore, this game is NOT "scary" at all. I suppose if you have a very sensitive child it could be. Truly, I see nothing scary at all and neither did my son. The fact that it was scary never occurred to me, and I had to bring it up ONLY because of the other review of this game.
I was pleasantly surprised with just about everything in this game. First of all, it wasn't real dumb like I pretty much expected. It was very fun! One thing I was amazed about was the graphics, it looks better than the cartoons. Everything looks so real and beautiful. And I love the way that Piglet says "La Laaaa!" each time he finds all the cookies in an area! It's so cute!
I think this game is an excellent choice for young players both very experienced, like my 6 year old whose usual choice is Final Fantasy and other RPG's, as well as kids brand new to playing.
Too Scary!

Modest fun for the whole family, but there are a lot of heffalumps and woozles chasing Piglet, to the tune of somber music. Our five year old runs out of the room every time! Quite a bit too scary for the pre-school audience.
