Retro delight

I started buying these Namco museum collections with the Vol. series for PS1. As ever, arcade authentic ports of all those great games from the single screen days. A real buzz to relive all the old memories without having to drop in all those quarters!

Classic but nothing to jump over

It's good to see some classic games on the PS2. The game has one super flaw and that is no auto save and load so you must constantly save and reload your data while playing (this is seriously annoying). You'll play this game with nostagla the first day or so but after that it'll be on the shelf collecting dust as you remind yourself you brought a PS2 for ground breaking new games not pac-man.

Finaly, all the arcade hits with special new graphics from the newer arcade re-releases. This game is classic fun and non-stop entertainment if you have a friend to play it with. But is it worth 30 DOLLARS!? Yeah I guess.

Pac-Man is undoubtedly the definition of classic arcade gaming. Who would have thought a little yellow shaped C would have won the admiration of millions of people over a span of 20 years now. Well if your like me one of the millions of adoring fans this game sweet is for you. Pac-Man and Miss Pac-Man are worth the price alone. But you also get Dig Dug, Galaga, Pole Position I and II, plus the 2 secret games Pac-Attack and Pac-Mania which you get once you score 20,000 points on Miss Pac-Man and 25,000 points on Pac-Man. Overall a very good deal for the price... My only problem with this is there is no option for the Pac-Man and Miss Pac-Man speed chip which many owners were able to add to their arcade games to speed up the movement of Pac-Man... this adds a little more excitement, they should have added it as an option to the menu, but oh well... Overall a great value! happy pac-man-ing and memories of childhood.

don't let the back of the box trick ya into thinking you are getting 10 classics and 3 new totaling 13 games it is 12 games 2unlockable games are realy additional levels to pac-man games but still fun. you get more if you buy the 3 seperate ps1 game volumes.

IN DIG DUG, YOU MUST PUMP ALL MONSTERS. THE MONSTERS ARE: POOKA,FYGAR,BOSSPOOKA,BIGBOSS POOKA,SILLY MARTIAN,OTHERGUY&DUCKY. IN GALAGA, KILL BUGS IN SPACE TO WIN POINTS, BUT THEY CAN KILL YOU TOO! IN POLE POSITION, YOU MUST WIN PRACTICE TO GO TO THE RACE!(ALL POLE POSTION GAMES ARE 2D.) MS. PACMAN IS THE SAME AS PACMAN. GALAXIAN IS THE SAME AS GALAGA. I ordered this item January 21, 2003, my account was debited for the payment and as of February 5, 2003 I have not received the product so at this time I am not very happy about having my money taken and nothing to show for it!

The games are as great as ever, but Namco is being really cheap. Only 6 games, and 2 of them are just near-identicle sequels - this is a $... DVD-ROM, there should have been more, such as Xevious, Mappy or Rally X.

this game was fun at the beginning for me i guess.But after a while it got boring.{unless u were in love with these games when u adults were kids.}i like to say hi to viet, jamil, caesar,marcos, seli,and the rest of my family for supporting me in writing this review.
