The game is all the description says it is...except it's incredibly short. There are 16 "adventures" to get through to win the game...which took me less than 10 hours total. The game, in and of itself, is fun, quirky, and very enjoyable. I just wish I hadn't paid 40 bucks for something with such a short life span; it doesn't seem worth it.

I got this game for christmas because I liked the book and the movie.I beat this game like three days after christmas!!!!!Usually It takes me a week or more to beat a game.The first night I played all the way through the first portion(or book).Most of the bosses in this game are insanly easly,MOST OF THEM!!!!They're are two or three parts in this game that I thought were insanly hard.Especially the ending and the portion with aunt josephine.If you're buying this for an eight year old, I wouldn't recomend IT.I am 14 and I found parts of this game very difficult and frustrating!!!The graphics are ok, but thats all.The whole game really consists of finding things that you need in order to invent things that will help you with the task at hand.You need to be a good puzzle solver for this,there is a whole lot of them!!!The thing the game does do well in is following the books and movie really well.You play just about everything you see in the movie and read in the books.The game also gives you the same feelings that you get reading the books and viewing the movie.All in all this game is ok and deserves a rental if you are a fan.I don't think it is worth buying because there is no replayability value and it is very short.

I recieved this game on christmas eve from my parents and played practically 1/2 the game that night! Then I finished the game the next morning! And it's no fun whatsoever playing it over again. I must say I just wanted this game because I am in a book group at school and read 5 Lemony Snicket books! Here's my review:
Challenging: 3 out of 10
Fun: 10 out of 10
Graphics: 8 out of ten

I would defintly tell you to rent this game instead of buying it!

I got this game for christmas.my dad gave it to me.I put it in my gamecube and started playing. I finished 2 days later.
It is not worth buying.

this game is fun, neat, is not to short but it is not very durable. this game is cool there is a veriety of inventions, siders, rats, and people with hooks for hands!

This game is fun and challenging. The voices are from the real actors and you get to be Violet,Klaus and even Sunny at times. Fun for the whole family

This game is a great companion of the books and movie that have made the works of Lemony Snicket loved by all. Join the Baudelaires as they try to outwit the evil Count Olaf and his horrid henchmen. Play as anyone of the three clever children as you explore the 3-D world of Lemony Snicket. Follow along through the first three books in this incredible series. Build and use Violet's inventions, use Klaus' recourcfulness, and even use Sunny's two sharp teeth to finally beat Olaf. well I dont have it,but I should love it.I have the CD game which is by the way ASOUME!if you dont have the vidio game or cd game you should be looking forword to buying both or 1 of them. :^)

This is a cool game. It has cool graphics, cool gadgets you get to build by finding stuff, and you get to play as all the Bauldelaires children. A good game to buy or rent.
