What it feels like to be a samurai

It's what i said, it even has the intense training which you spend forever doing. I spent a good time playing it but I stopped because I didn't feel like beating out all the rival schools. I had trouble with the controls and ended up blocking like crazy because i couldn't manuever. If you could feel pain it would be hard to tell the differnce between this game and the actual thing. Although the real swords would kill.
Fun game but not too much replay value

This is a fun game once you get the hang of it. It's different from other fighting games since a well placed sword stroke can be VERY effective. You can customize you players characteristics (Agility, Speed, Attack Strenth, Will) by using points you get from beating people and training. Along the way, you'll learn different styles and get to customize you attacking style using the differenc styles.
You'll start out choosing a dojo and learning a particular style first. Then you challence the other dojos to gains points, learn new attackes and get special swords that allow you to perfom SUPER ATTACKS!
Once you finish the game you can keep on going to try and learn all the move (I only know about 60%) and finished the game awhile back. But once, you've finished the game it'll be rare for you to lose to anybody. The game then only becomes fun to play with someone else UNLESS you are bound and determned to learn 100% of the moves, which I'd like to do but it's been two months since I've touched the game since I bought it!
Also, this game doesn't have a story line. I did enjoy this game and want to try WAY OF THE SAMURAI which is a similiar game but with a story line that changes depending on what you do in the story. Will write a review for that when I get it!!

I love this game! I'm getting so bored of the same old fight games. That are button smashers and have no strategy during the fight. This game is a breath of fresh air. I love the part where you build your character up through training. Like in a roll playing game. The fighting gameplay is great. I love the way your chartacters start out as students and if your good enough, become masters. But the end is far from near. Now that you have become a master and have your own dojo, you must defend your mastership, honor and all your skills you have earned. For they can be taken away just as easily as you received them.

Ok so i bought this from gamestop used for like 5 bucks. And im not gonna complain and say that i wasted my money or anything like that but this game isn't that great.Sure i played it for awhile but it just got to boreing for me.I'm not gonna explain what you do or what its all about but i will tell you that the gameplay pretty much sucks especialy if your the type that likes free roam games. There are these mini games or whatever you wonna call them i gues to train your character or something i dont really know i didn't play it long enough.Well anyway the bottom line you should really really try before you buy.

This game is ok. Its not as good as Bushido Blade (so I've heard). Now there are life meters again. I really havent played it much (I just rented it and ZOE and I spent most my time with ZOE). I think its a good game though. But when you play in the dojos most of the times you use Bokkens which are the wooden swords.
They really need to add more stars

This is one of the funnest games for people who enjoy fighting games that also require strategy and thought. You begin the game as a novice with no skills, but you train in various activities, you fight your way through the Dojos and you become an expert. You can make your own combos and decide how you want to grow into a master. This game is also very relaxing, there is no irritating music or bright colors. It is a thoughtful game that takes dedication and someone who really likes becoming a master in the Bushido Blade. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!

This game is cool for those of you who like fighting games. The graphics are great and the blood is awsome. Other than that this game can get dull verry quickly. I bought it and exchanged it for another, it is a rental.
