Way better than I thought it was going to be.

The Hobbit is the amazing prude to the Lord of the Rings. When I first weard they were making a prude I thought this was going to be bad. Then more info came out and it looked wonderful. The final pruduct looks great. It's about Frodo uncle Bilbo, and how a wizard named Gandalf sent him out to destroy a Dragon named "Smuag". It also talks about how Bilbo got the one ring for Gollum. The game is alot like Zelda. Very fun and will ansewer some qustions.

THis game is okay, but very boring. I hate the graphics. It does have some interesting moments, though.

"The Hobbit" is going to be an awsome video game for the Sony PlayStation2. I can't wait to own it! It will have a lot of action and adventure in it. It is said that this game will be pretty strategic and challenging at some points. I love a game that challenges the person who plays it! And hey; "The Hobbit" video game is a prelude to "The Lord of the Rings". And "Lord of the Rings" is awsome! I haven't read any books by author J.R.R. Tolkien; but I have seen director Peter Jackson's movie trilogy; and the first two movies are a phenomenon! I can't wait to see the third one! Anyway: "The Hobbit" video game will have many evil fantasy characters to fight such as: trolls, goblins, huge spiders, and more. I cannot wait to own "The Hobbit" video game for the Sony PlayStation2!

I have not played the game, but looking at the cooooooooool graphics and zelda type gameplay reminds me of chicken noodle soup.(yum, chicken noodle soup, yumy yumy yuuuuuuuuuuum)

this was an excellent game to experience. the graphics the game play the voice overs. but the 1 let back is the combat and fighting system even though they had a multitude of enemies its not that exciting. but over all this is a game to get since they didnt have a movie for it and now you get the expierence.

this is soooo bad,but..............

the resin i gave it a 2 is it was prety fun untill fleis and spiders i cant jump on that thing to get too that brach it is so frustrated i hate this game and i hate lotr the return of the king the two towers rocked buy that not this :)

If anyone remembers the shareware "Jill of the Jungle", it was just simply fun! This is an puzzle solving, jumping and climbing bonanza, with the story line of the Hobbit thrown in.

I usually do not like arcade games, and I did get tired of killing spiders in Mirkwood, but the game is so fun. Even after I completed it, I keep returning to play it.

Sequences that are brillant.....
The Cart ride in the mines.
The entire depiction of the Dragon.
The sequence of Spiders you must dispatch.
And the endgame battle level.

I do not understand the critism of the cartoon quality, the quality of the graphics is excellent. And it works well within the story of the Hobbit.

The game is a very good game with an excellent storyline. If you've read the book "The hobbit' then you should know alot about this game already because the game is so much like the book.

It is a fun game but the graphics could be better. The shire is beautiful and bilbo seems to enjoy all of his adventures. Don't be frustrated if you can't beat a level, also. I get stuck on many levels but manage to get out. You meet many new characters along the way and you even find the very famous "Sting" the sword.

The hobbit is a very fun game and addicting. Very addicting. I reccommend this game about 80% I am pretty sure you will like so maybe consider getting the game.

Acceptable for Younger Players

This is fun game and it's one that I'm not afraid to play when my little girls are around. In appearance, it is much like a cartoon. It isn't too violent and the language is acceptable for younger viewers/players. There isn't any adult content. This is actually the only game in my collection that my oldest child requests that I play because she likes to watch it and it does follow the book. The hardcore gamers will probably not like it much but even as a hardcore gamer it is a fun change of pace (you know, in between the blood, bullets and boobs).
