Pretty good game. Drawback; if you do tasks out of sequence, the game gets stuck in the same day. Save game often.
Good, but no match for the book

This game is a good effort. However, it is rather boring and is made so starting acts are long, whereas last chapters (obviously because even the developers got bored) are very short.
You should buy this game only for Agatha Christie. The book which is included in the game, is an excellent book, a top.
If you have already the book and expect a gripping experience from the game, you will be disappointed.
Loved it!

Really enjoyed this one. I've been a gamer for some time and this was a blast to play. It's well worth the buy.
I feel cheated...

So I'm at a point early in the game in which I can't go upstairs without a light. The flashlight I found has no batteries and though I've matches I can't seem to make a flaming torch from anything in my kit. Haven't been able to find any batteries. As someone else here wrote, if you do something out of sequence the game can get stuck. Unlike Herinteractive these programmer-geeks at AWE think too linearly and haven't woken up to the internet age and the ability to create a hints board. My daughter's pretty fed up with this game and I don't blame her.

I thought this adventure game deserved a five star rating, since it did what it was suppose to do. I do not remember reading the novel, many years ago. This could cause a disappointment. If you do not like the genre, then one should avoid the game. Also it was a mystery, which I thought was a good choice.
A common complaint is that some of the actions were obscure, but not really too much in this game, just use your adventure game playing skills, and it should be ok.
