I don't know what to say, this game is kind of fun, but really lacks any real replay value. You play as a chopper pilot who flies around the city either putting out fires and rescuing people or helping the police track down a bad guy. It can be fun, sending your little guy down a rope to pull up some poor little person, but it gets boring. Decent graphics and control are the only really high points for this title, and the number of modes are low, (3).

City Crisis -- 0.85 stars

City Crisis is a total waste of money. poor graphics and sound, downright horrid control. You fly helicopters around, recuing people from buildings and following criminals in high-speed pursuits. I will say that it is an original idea.

I read the other reviews and they weren't that good,I mean this game is worthy of 4 stars it's good but not great. It's fun but some times frustrating and hard.I like the fact that u hoover the city looling for a fire to put out with in a certain amount of time and u must rescue the people from the burning roof tops or u can have fun and drag the rescue guy in the basket along the streets,Or u can shine the spotlight on the fugitive so the cops can close in on the hijacked bus he he u be the judge it's your money

This game would only be good if you had Game Shark to help u

The controls, time limit, camera and damage makes this game get you very fustrating. Trying to save people, taking out fires, and following a hijacked bus is almost impossible to do with the lousy controls, the time limit, the crazy camera (making you think that you are right by the rescuer/building, when you are really not), and the damage that you can make to your helecopter WILL make you want to throw the cd out the window. If you are used to SSX and Smuggler's Run type of graphics thisis not you game. The stly of gameplay seems slow and not very interesting, it also is a unpleasent reminder of September 11th, putting out fires in burning buildings will not get my liking or intrest for a few years.

Glad I didn't buy it.

I rented this game and I thought it was very hard and the graphics weren't exactly something to scream at. This game should have been made for PC, not PS2.

To start, this is not a fantastic game. Its one of those strangely entertaining venues that while you'll never really appreciate in full, has its merits on the side. I didn't play this game for about 6 months, then got hit with a craving. Its easy to master, boring to play for more then an hour or so, but something about it will keep you coming back later. I recommend it for a rent, i bought it to fill the urges. I also recommend State of Emergency and Shinobi as two quality entertaining games that you'll never bother sitting down and plugging away at.

This game [stinks]. Don't buy it. The graphics are par for a 64 bit system, not PS2. The play control is beyond terrible. There is no variation on the weather... it is always sunny and clear, and the missions are long-winded and stupid. The music is annoying as well. Don't waste the [money] even to rent it.

this game sucked. No matter how good i did i couldn't get past the first level. i got perfect scores and perfect ratings and still stuck on the first level.so gameplay-1. Controls on the other hand were pretty good. it was similar to a real one with the joystick and all. the graphics were also good. so these categories-4. many more choppers would have been greatly appreciated. three is not a good selection. so overall, this game was a wasted 5 bucks, and i dont recomend it to anyone else.
