A Super Intense and Awesome Game Eddie Crumb Lancaster,KY

I own COD Finest Hour and Big Red One. Those were super good games. But this game is better. Its way more intense. Especially the Polish level when your trying to keep the hill. You even get to do some hand to hand combat. You don't even have to find med kits. When you're badly wounded you just find cover from enemy fire and you heal automatically. Beware you constantly get grenades thrown at you. But you can throw them back. I don't recommend doing this unless you're badly wounded. Sometimes it explodes and I die before I can throw it. The graphics are pretty good for PS2. If you like the previous COD games you'll love this.

This is the best game ever. I thought Call of duty 2 was really cool but I got this last night and it was awsome. If you are buying you first "Call of Duty" then buy Call of duty 2 big red one.
Over all this is the best game ever.

My first game

I received a PS2 this Christmas and CoD3 was the first game I played. I had not played the other 2 so I can't compare. For me I had fun with this game. It was many hours of play.

Basically your rotate between scenes playing the Americans, British SAS, Poles, and Canadians.

Game play took a little for me as I was not used to the game controller but I did pick it up.

Probably the hardest for me was hill 262 with the Poles. One that took a bit was defending a town(I forget which part of the game) but it involved finding areas to blow with gas mains.

Some weapons were short for ammo, especially if you shoot a great deal. The German weapons taken from the dead didn't seem to remain for a long time so you have only so much time.

The hand to hand scenes seemed way to easy and the rifle but attack seemed hard (probably due to my lack of experience with the game controller).

There are extras on the game. You can see art work, the movies in the game and interviews with some WWII veterens. No German vets however.

Overall I am happy with the game and will replay it and see if things are different.

Do get a memory card as the game does auto saves.

My husband loves games that are hard it gives hime a challenge. I hate paying so much for a game when he can finnish it in a couple of weeks. This game is much harder and he loves it. The store who sold it to us was so helpful we will always buy from them from now on because of amazon, [...] a great place with great help. you get what you pay for. help the whole time if you have a problem.

Some people have said some negative thing about this COD, but I think it is the best version to date. COD, The big red one, s*cked donkey b*lls. I played this one immediately after and it is leaps and bounds ahead. The computer players are much more advanced this time through. In COD BRO they got in your way and were so lame. In this one they actually save your a**!

To those who say this game sucks, here is some advice. Always play these games on the hardest setting. It will be the most realistic and most difficult. You won't be able to beat it in an afternoon. It will require patience and skill.

The only downside to the game so far is that you are often killed by "invisible" germans. They are hiding all over the place and it can get frustrating to get killed 5 times in a row in the same spot without ever figuring out why.

But the graphics are good and the game play fun, once you get the hang of it.

This game rocks. The new feautures that it has is awesome. You can clear out an entire room with the butt of your gun. Also this game has online multiplayer for up to 24 people. Another thing, the trench gun. In the past Call of duty games we never got a shot gun. now we do the trench gun is awesome. Buy it or rent it NOW

I'll have to admit, that this game is truly a very cool game in my view and one of the best of 2006. This game beats Call of Duty 2 graphics wise, however, unlike 2 and sticking to a solid story line, Call of Duty 3 moves you to different battles so that you can get a full effect of WWII. The game does have its frustration points (like all new games do), however, with time, you pretty much will learn all the new stuff very easy. This game gets a solid A+ in my view and is highly recommended !!

I have played COD finest hour and big red one. Each one gets better and better, but this one is the best I've played. You can fight hand to hand plus the graphics awesome!!!!! But that isn't the best part. The way you set bombs is extremely realistic and you control mortors and big guns like they realy did. As a matter of fact sometimes I forget I'm just playing a game. Take it from me you will love it.

Call of duty 3 puts you in the action and excitement of the Normandy Breakout Campaign.I'm only on level 2 so I only know about levels 2 and 1. The first level puts you in the war-torn streets of Saint Lo.The second level puts you on a rainy island in Chambois.New feature! Now you can fight in hand-to-hand combat mode!The first time you experience hand-to-hand fighting, is in Saint Lo. As you walk into a room a German jumps out and attacks!You must then fight him off! Sometimes I feel as though I'm actually in the Great War.Best first-person shooter I've ever played!I highly recommend it!
