Nick has had some bad games in the past but this is not one of them. This game is one
Of their very best. The game is a little boring the first few moments of the game. But
Thats the pacing for it. Games have to introduce the characters and their qualities.
And this game has very good gameplay.
Good characters with interesting powers are shown in this game. Their special powers are
Only a little repetative at the beginning. Later in the game the gang learns many new and
Outstanding moves. They all have trademark moves and fighting styles. The enemies include
Dark wolves and Canyon Crawlers. All of which are original to the show.
Giant machines unknown to the show are also in the game. Such as the final boss.
After all being a nick game, it is extremely easy. But the game gives you
Much to fight. The plot could be worked on a bit though. The story is
Extremely basic and corny. But it was still a good game.
what the heck!

Bought this game over the weekend for my son's 6 birthday. He played the game for all of 15 minutes and said it was boring and asked me to take it back to the store. I then began to fiddle around with the game and came to the same conclusion after about 5 minutes. It's slow, the dialogue is useless......blah!blah! not worth talking about anymore.'
SUCKS!

Avatar is the dumbest show ever. I rented the game to see how bad it was and it only took me 50 minuites to beat considering the fact it only had 23 levels that are super easy. Avatar is just another lame TV show from Nickeloden. Get a game like Sonic The Hedgehog, Halo 3, or Grand Theft Auto they rock!

I like the series, the animation is pretty cool on the show. But whoever put this together just didn't spend a lot of time on it. Everythings fuzzy, combat is slow and boring, and the dialouge has typos that are distracting. A rushed job, and not a good credit to the makers of ths show.
Love Avatar, but.....

This is a good game. Graphics are a bit fuzzy, but decent enough. The game just isn't long enough. I didn't play it constantly, maybe a few hours a day and I had it completed in a few days. I hope the next one if there is a next one is longer. It sucks that you can't retrace your steps, everything has to be done at one time.
Good, but not Great

This game maintains the basic principle of the television series - the bending. Each character has many different types of bending abilities, and it's easy enough to understand. Every character gets a chance to play (if you want to get certain chests.)
Pro's:
Intricate, well thought out plot.
Numerous side quests.
Easy to learn movements and techniques.
Con's:
Bad character graphics.
Annoying background music.
Hard to figure out mini quests.
In summation, this game has a relatively high replay value, and is worth buying. Don't count on the characters looking exactly like they do on TV, though, and you also get a chance to play as Momo, but not Appa.

This game is too fun to express in words. You not only get to experience the show in your personal home theater and play as several characters and learn bending skills including airbending, but you get experience it has a fighting game (in the fighting levels) rather than RPG or strategy style like in the Final Fantasy series.
Anyone who loves great gaming, or is a fan of the show, will love this game. If you are a avatar fan this game is a must-have. You'll have a blast with it!

This game was a big hit with my sons. They love the show and loved the game just as much. Only a few weeks after Christmas they've finished the game because they wouldn't put it down. If you're a fan of the show you'll love the game!
