At first you'll be saying that because the game is sorta cute and makes you want to act like a pirate, but then you'll be saying that because it gets VERY hard. Let me put it this way: You're attacked from BELOW the sea, ON the sea, and IN the sky. I've owned my copy of this game for several months and I've only gotten to region 2 part 2. There's 4 regions in all, each region with 4 sections. Also, each region has different graphics, which is good. I first played this game on PC and my friend and I liked it pretty well. The gameplay is pretty straightforward, although it can get difficult picking the right weapon at the right time. The weapons I find myself using most are Broadsides and Rockets. Stupid parrots and UFO's won't leave me alone! While I'm on the topic of weapons, although there is a nice variety--depth charges, flamethrowers, mines, etc. I scarcely use them. Basics are best. The graphics on this game are really good as are the animations. This game is sorta cute, but not that cute. An adult can still play it without feeling like a kid too much. I'd say it's a bit too hard for kids, though. One of the nicest features about this game is that there is a password feature--for those of you who don't have memory cards. But if you DO have a memory card, ALL of your progress is saved on just one block! And from that one block you can go to any previous level! As for the multiplayer mode, I honestly don't think it's as good as the game. The multiplayer maps aren't very inventive and I wish that there was an Airship powerup to spice things up a bit. All in all, if you want an arcade-style shooter that is DIFFERENT and has a pirate-theme, then I highly recommend that you pick up this title.
