I don't know what people see in this piece of trash. It's boring and stupid. I guess it might be alright for a 5-year old child. I took it the day after I wasted my money on it and traded it back in for a real game.

I don't get it.... This game is horrible.

I can't believe all the over-zealous reviews this game has received. If you've played a GREAT game with GREAT camera control such as "Spyro the Dragon" you will be utterly frustrated with this title. While the graphics and cut scenes are nice the game suffers from a lot of pop up and the camera control is primitive and HORRIBLE. Just when you get the angle the way you like it the game forgets and spins the angle back around. You will often find yourself cocking your head trying to look under your TV screen feeling as if you have blinders on. Also due to the graphics it's often difficult to tell which way your character is facing and this is frustrating when confronting enemies as you will attack in the wrong direction while you are pelted from behind. Also the game does not give you enough opportunities to save your progress so you will often find yourself replaying an entire level you came very close to completing. This can get quite monotonous. To give you a better idea of my dissatisfaction with this game, I yanked it from my Playstation and smashed it to bits. This game actually has great potential but the control is loose and weak. I know it's only my two cents but save your money for a better game. I already wasted mine.

Zombie Fun!

I enjoyed this game for its quirky characters and ease of play. Its not too challenging, so you can really enjoy playing for a long time. You go through cemeteries and such, slashing zombies, and anything else that gets in your way. Some people may find the game a bit morbid, but it is all in good fun.

i know many people who have writen about this game and they just say the good things. all those things are true but it does have a few faults. #1. the camera dosnt always go where you want it to go. #2. if you dont have a giude book sometimes you have no idea what to do ex. im at a level and it tells me to use th witch tailsmen and i have now idea what that is or where to get it.after searching every leval i have played again i finally found it. also on one level i was trying to find the chalice and couldnt.i finally asked my friend (who has a guide) and he said you have to brake the wall next to the statue(who would have thought). #3. those stupid gargoyles are annoying."Behold a skeliton,you have unleashed the shadow deamons, dont kill anyone." shut up. if you get the game you'll know what i mean. im not saying dont get the game but if you do(which i recomend)those were just a few things you should know about. over all its a great game.

THIS IS ONE OF THER COOLEST GAMES I HAVE PLAYED. ALTHOUGH THE FOREST AND THE CORN FIELDS WERE'NT MY FAVORITES EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT.IT TAKES TIME TO ACCOMPLISH THINGS BUT ONCEB YOU DO, YOU'LL WANT TO GO ON.

This game is interesting. My sister made me pick it up and it is fun to mess around with. If you are looking for a cute little adventure platformer then this is it. The graphics are good and the control isn't too tricky. It does get difficult in parts but not overly. I am not a huge fan of platform games but this one got me with its unique humorous tones. Give it a shot on your PS2 if you haven't. It's a bargain.

This game is pretty good for its own sake. It's basically about a dead warrior in a land of ghouls & zombies who attack him at every turn, & it is up to you to find the Chaos Rune, among other hidden treasures arrayed throughout this underworld of bizarre incarnations.

The animations are up to 3-D par, although I will remark on the variety of different angles. The graphics are japanamistic, but nonetheless amusing.

This game was great! I liked it,because some level would open up next."What's this next level?! I can't wait!"I suggest you buy it.The reason it's four stars,is because it could have been better.It would have if there was some really,really dark chamber,(other than the Hilltop Mausoleum)with ghosts.Other than that,it's great.

My girlfriend bought MediEvil for me for Christmas 1998, almost a year ago, and I'm still thanking her for it! This game is great, and the only drawback to it is that you will, eventually, finish it. There MUST be a sequel, or I may give up playing video games!

The graphics are very nice, not necessarily the best ever but way above average. They are fluid and well done, though the camera angle can sometimes be looking at Dan from the side instead of from behind him. Mastering the L2 and R2 buttons will alleviate this problem.

The landscape variety is astounding, the different boards are unusual and interesting, yet linked together in a great way. If you look closely at the "sky line" in the background of some boards, you can see buildings that you later enter on other boards - a nice touch. The variations in settings and environment is one of the best parts of the game. When you are done, you look back at the expanse of the game and wonder how they fit it all in on one CD. The soundtrack is spooky and sound effects well done - at times when you are on exposed parts of the world the wind noise is louder. The game does a great job of blending playability with difficulty. The puzzles needed to advance can be easy to quite hard, and often take a lot of thought and a little luck.

The best parts about this game, in my opinion, are the humor and the storyline. The game is clever and funny in so many parts, which only adds to the typical "slash and chop" zombie killing fun. The storyline is wonderful and deep, you find out more and more about Dan and the supporting cast as you travel through the realm. A great game from start to finish!

Medievil is the greatest game EVER!

This game is incredible. It is so much fun to play and has wonderful graphics and a great story line. Of all the RPG's I have purchased, I have yet to find one which I like and enjoy as much as Medievil. I reccomend this game to anyone who enjoys RPG's. I enjoyed this game so much that I was actually sad when I finally beat the game. The mixture of fighting and puzzle solving is one aspect that makes this game so much fun. There are many hidden clues and "secret" areas to uncover, so that when you replay the game you always find something that you had not found the first time you played it. I hope there is going to be a sequel because it certainly deserves one. This is the greatest game I have ever played and I wish I could find another like it.
