Blasto was one of the first games I owned for the Playstation One (rockin' it old-school, yo! 199- something or other), but it was definetly one of the most memorable ones. The jokes are simply hilarious, graphics were top notch at the time, overall fun to play. Everyone should pay homage to Phil Hartman, this being one of his later projects before his untimely passing. Buy it. Play it. Laugh it. Love it.
A Very Enjoyable Game,

This game is imaginative and FUN with a lot of play value. The mazes are damnably clever, the music is GREAT and Phil Hartman as the voice of Blasto MAKES the game!!! You'll play this one a LOT. It's worth finding.
The cut scenes are hysterical, like Captain Blasto piloting his ship through the cosmos when he gets a call from Galactic HQ telling him that Uranus is in danger -- to which he responds "So what else is new?"
"Better get a mop -- there's going to be guts on the ceiling!!!"
Really one of the best games I've ever played, and definitely the best PS1 game as far as entertainment value goes. I wish that Phil Hartman had lived to be the voice of Captain Blasto in a sequel! Did I mention the mazes being difficult? They'll have you pulling your hair out. It all takes place in a cartoonish universe full of tongue-in-cheek humor and obscure science fiction movie references. Or inferences. GREAT FUN!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Pretty bad

When it first came out, the graphics for this game were state-of-the-art. Now they are not good. The gameplay is very forgetable as well, it plays like a futuristic Tomb Raider with lousy puzzles.
The only possible reason to buy this game is that the voice of Blasto is done by the great Phil Hartman.
Fun over Funny

The game was great for the first few levels, but it is very repeating. The control is good, but the view could be improved. Overall I would recommend renting the game, but don't make the mistake of buying it.
Not all that great

From what I was hearing about "Blasto," I was expecting it to be an awesome game. After I played it, I thought it was mediocre. It has good graphics and a cool storyline, but its bad control ruins all the fun. "Blasto" has some cool territories to explore and some great effects, and for awhile it's a little bit of fun.
If adventure/sci-fi games are what you like, I would recommend renting "Blasto," but I wouldn't recommend buying it because you will get frustrated with the controls after a few minutes.

In a far, far, off glaxy a planet known as Uranus is being invaded by space aliens. And now it's up to our hero, Blasto to save to planet. This game is awesome! With the voice of Blasto by, Phil Hartman, there's no doubt that you'll be laughing your head off as you go about blasting the evil aliens, while still trying to catch the Babes on Planet Uranus.
