Great game. strong story plot. cool mini movies. Graphics are ok, but took a while to load on my old imac. Over all a great game for trekies and gamers alike.

Just like joining the crew.

The single player game is VERY immersive, putting you in the role of Ensign Munro, second in command of the Hazard Team. You get mission briefings, weapon training on the holodeck, and even time to hang out in the break room before being sent on Away Missions to insure the survival of your ship. Player models are quite good, with perhaps the most realistic faces I've seen in a computer game, with lips that seem to match the spoken dialogue exactly. Having nearly all the Voyager cast members for voice actors helps as well. The missions, for the most part, aren't too difficult for anyone with FPS experience but are still a lot of fun.

The multiplayer game, started from a separate application, is basically Quake 3 with new maps, skins, weapons, and a few enhancements to the after battle reports, like your most used weapon and who killed you the most. I think it's better looking and has better weapons, but that's a personal preference, and it seems to need more CPU power than Quake 3.

Really good game! I wish I had it.....

I really liked this game when i played it for awhile then I let my friends house. Its really fun, you dont even have to know what Star Trek is to be able to blend in with the action. This game has the Quake III engine which is really cool. I like the weapons and the aliens. MAN THOSE BORG ARE CREEPY!

Good. But oddly depressing

I order this thinking it would involve, more, newer missions and plot lines. All it adds is "Virtual" Voyager, a never ending mission with random objectives and events. This is great but not really what I was expeccting. If you want a more challenging STAR TREK third person shooter, Try DS9 THE FALLEN.

Got to be a hot Game to get my attention ...

Finally a Star Trek game that really kicks it!
Yet, so disappointing so far because they should not have released this version for Mac. My Mac brothers and sisters, this game has a serious bug in the multiplayer (holomatch) that makes it so you can't see your or your opponents shots using two of the most vital weapons! I find it outrageous they don't tell you this. It's a crippleing defect and I don't know how they couldn't have seen it and it's still not fixed.

It's so real...You could think your in the U.S.S. Voyager...

This game is the best ever seen...
The graphics are verry goods... The 3D action is excellent...
I didnt finish the game... But so far it's the best Star Trek game ever created...

Better work with a G4 computer...
Do not work with PowerBook G3...
(Unless you have a good 3D graphic card)...

Best Virtual Tour!

What I liked about this expansion pack is the VIRTUAL Tour of the Starship Voyager. I loved this!

Very cool to wander about the ship when and wehere I want. And there are a lot of surprises too.

Great marketing too. Elite Force is much better to play with both the originaland the expansion pack together. So if you get the original get this as well!

brillient but short
